Couldn't get anyone here to start an auction for $45..... ... so I it anyway..... for $425 . I love this domaining stuff! Payment has been made. Ps, I also had one of the first "bigger" sales for a .cc : O2.cc for $850 in January 2005.
Domain selling is a extremely funny business. The same thing happened with Tuned.in. I couldn't even get a $75 offer, then 2 days later sold it for $2,000! Never say die! It will strike when you least expect it.
...and where do/did you find your buyers at???? i wish i could do the same. All i'm attracting are some delusional people that believe that i'm going to "pay them for taking my domain"....
I have une.cc - une is the french word for one - so its parked at Sedo with french ads. Does a little better than pay for registration while waiting for the right home.
I also have prostitutes.cc and freepoker.cc.
I like the extension but if you want liquidity look elsewhere.
My eBay auction for nen.cc ended at $15.50, which is how much I saw dht.cc go for a few weeks back. dud.cc was a little more impressive with a winning bid of $36.
i only have one: auckland.cc, and i didn't buy it with any intention of making any money, it's my hometown, so just a collectors piece for me.
i gave away all the other ones in the job lot i bought.
re abstracts sales vs your lack of interest intelbank: i see "1m" and think "one million", so perhaps someone liked that. O2 is a huge mobile phone company in the uk, so maybe someone saw something there. i'm struggling to find any meaning in z3 and 6h, would that explain it, or am i missing something obvious?
2 char .cc's seem to come up for sale fairly cheap occassionally, does anyone have any thoughts on what a base rate for a 2 letter .cc would be?
I've been getting some steady traffic at 1000+ visits per month and last October I end up getting $35 in revenue but most of my other 2 chars only get minimal traffic.
I don't know if this will help or not, but 6p.cc is on sale at tdnam with an appraisal. And it seems like every two character .cc I've seen on there in the last few months that had an appraisal had the same value, $1,204.00 - $3,130.00.
With the 6h.cc you certainly have a point, i can't find much meaning in this one either, it's more of a novelty to me.
However, Z3 is an entirely different story: http://images.google.com/images?hl=...F-8&sa=N&tab=wi
YES! Very much so! Even though it's not bringing me close to throwing a part or shall i say "fest" , it's a step in the right direction.
The question is now, was it a domainer or end user? Developer or hold for investment?
