Couldn't get anyone here to start an auction for $45..... :td: ... so I :sold: it anyway..... for $425 :hehe: . I love this domaining stuff! Payment has been made. Ps, I also had one of the first "bigger" sales for a .cc : O2.cc for $850 in January 2005.
Domain selling is a extremely funny business. The same thing happened with Tuned.in. I couldn't even get a $75 offer, then 2 days later sold it for $2,000! Never say die! It will strike when you least expect it.

...and where do/did you find your buyers at???? i wish i could do the same. All i'm attracting are some delusional people that believe that i'm going to "pay them for taking my domain"....

Believe it or not, I did nothing more than list both (1m & Tuned) at www.Sedo.com. I guess end-users just found me.

I have une.cc - une is the french word for one - so its parked at Sedo with french ads. Does a little better than pay for registration while waiting for the right home.

I also have prostitutes.cc and freepoker.cc.

I like the extension but if you want liquidity look elsewhere.

Actually, I had 1m.cc listed for only a couple of months!

Alright, back to the topic at hand. I'm currently scanning another list of LLL.cc, expect results to be posted shortly.

As promised: here's the refreshed list: http://www.namepros.com/showthread....058#post2367058

My eBay auction for nen.cc ended at $15.50, which is how much I saw dht.cc go for a few weeks back. dud.cc was a little more impressive with a winning bid of $36.

mis_chiff 12-06-2007 07:54 PM

Not a lot of mention about NNN.cc's?
Anybody got one...or two?

sparkplug 12-06-2007 08:17 PM

alexsimon's 619.cc is still for sale AFAIK: http://www.namepros.com/cctld-domai...n-for-50-a.html

i only have one: auckland.cc, and i didn't buy it with any intention of making any money, it's my hometown, so just a collectors piece for me.

i gave away all the other ones in the job lot i bought.

re abstracts sales vs your lack of interest intelbank: i see "1m" and think "one million", so perhaps someone liked that. O2 is a huge mobile phone company in the uk, so maybe someone saw something there. i'm struggling to find any meaning in z3 and 6h, would that explain it, or am i missing something obvious?

2 char .cc's seem to come up for sale fairly cheap occassionally, does anyone have any thoughts on what a base rate for a 2 letter .cc would be?

I'm not sure.

I've been getting some steady traffic at 1000+ visits per month and last October I end up getting $35 in revenue but most of my other 2 chars only get minimal traffic.

I don't know if this will help or not, but 6p.cc is on sale at tdnam with an appraisal. And it seems like every two character .cc I've seen on there in the last few months that had an appraisal had the same value, $1,204.00 - $3,130.00.

---------
Name:
6p.cc

Value:
$1,204.00 - $3,130.00

Certification Date:
February 8, 2007

With the 6h.cc you certainly have a point, i can't find much meaning in this one either, it's more of a novelty to me.
However, Z3 is an entirely different story: http://images.google.com/images?hl=...F-8&sa=N&tab=wi

I have just two Ran.cc and Ugly.cc

thebutler 12-12-2007 10:27 AM

Some hope for .cc fans - road.cc went for ....

From the dnjournal sales reports.

How much do you think road.cc would go for!!!!

SEE BELOW

Road.cc £900 = $1,831 Sedo

Still some hope.

YES! Very much so! Even though it's not bringing me close to throwing a part or shall i say "fest" ;), it's a step in the right direction.
The question is now, was it a domainer or end user? Developer or hold for investment?

I've only got 6 .cc names. What potential do you see for them?

Compensation()cc
Jail()cc
Physician()cc
Renovations()cc
Rude()cc
Wild()cc

randomo 12-13-2007 05:31 AM

I scanned a list of country names yesterday for various extensions, including .cc; I reg'd SierraLeone, but these .cc's are still available if anyone wants them:

ChannelIslands
FaroeIslands

Cheers,
Dave

P.S. My current .cc portfolio also includes:
ChristmasCard (goes well with .cc!)
Cheesecake & Cheesecakes (ditto)
Grapes
Goats
Miracles
CardPlayer

xman 12-19-2007 11:47 AM

I just sold move .cc for $100

I was actually gonna let this one expire since it was regged with 1and1

I guess this isn't too bad of a sale considering its a .cc and regged with 1and1

Jed K 12-19-2007 12:13 PM

Only .cc I have is pvc.cc, and I doubt I'll be grabbing many more. :hmm:

I like the extension, but the lack of interest, slow sales and low prices just isn't worth my time.
