hmm not sure you are right in only focussing on the percentage..the actual number of domains remaining is quite small..they could go quite quickly in a wild flurry at end....

It would be interesting to know of the L-LL.com and LL-L.com that are not remaining, how many of them were bought between Jan 2007 and now. There was around 50% L-L-L.com remaining in Jan this year.
