hey everyone.

i joined this forum because my friend justin (nonenone) told me about it.

i live in sydney, australia and i like making websites and doing graphics. i started doing this sort of stuff about this time last year. my site is www.peppercorn.tk. (yeah, im just using dot.tk redirection for now).

i also like doing flash, which i am just learning by reading tutorials... i plan to do my site in flash. challenging, but i enjoy a challenge.

namepros is such a great place... so many friendly people discussion domain names and offering great advice!

im really glad to have found this place, and i hope i can be part of the community.

BTW, how can i put smileys in my posts?

When you click on "reply," there is a table on the left side of the form with a list of smilies. If you want to browse through more smilies, you can click on "Get More." Once you've found a smiley you like, simply click on it and the code to make it appear automatically inserts, after the text. Once the post has been submitted, the smilies will appear.

thanks for the help... but i still cant find the table you're talking about...

the little box at the bottom says that smilies are on. could u give me a screenshot of what you're talking about or something? Thanks.

All the smilies should be on the left side of the reply box.. where you enter your msg. Just click on the smilies you want to use.

thanks netPH! justins told me how to enable my smilies... by turning vbcode on in the usercp. ive already learnt a lot of this in the space of 11 hours. lol... ive been on this site nearly all day!
