Just a small note. Open source doesn't denote anything apart from the fact you can read the source (ie it is not encoded).

What I presume you want to know is if it is GPL or any other licence that allows you to use it in a way you wish. For example vbulletin is open source but you still have to pay $160 to use it (on an owned licence)

The Open Source Initiative disagrees with you completely: http://opensource.org/docs/osd .

Whether you agree with them or not, well... it was them that essentially coined the phrase.

That was not where open source originated they just continued the use of it.

mkylut 12-28-2007 01:17 AM

Many thanks Mikor, I think I will use your source code on my site. repped

I was under the impression that the phrase 'Open Source' originated from Eric Raymond who co-founded the OSI. Any links as to the true origin would be appreciated :) Free Software, on the other hand...

Either way, I think you'll find that you are in the minority when claiming that 'Open Source' refers to the readability of code, and I'm sure that VBulletin specifically would disagree with you.

Doesn't work. I uploaded and everything works. But it still says google's page rank is 0. Page rank doesn't work.

Borghunter 12-30-2007 10:53 AM

Very well done Mikor. Great Web 2.0 compatibility.

Irieman 04-11-2008 02:35 AM

I'm also interested. Does anyone still has the script?

OctaneInv 04-17-2008 05:49 AM

I'd also like to take a look at the script.

Like previously said, the domain is parked.

Irieman 04-17-2008 10:24 AM

I have asked Mikor, but he doesn't have it anymore.

If he finds a copy he'll repost it.

I have both (v1 and v2) scrips on my HD but v2 doesn't work any more. Are they your scripts? If YES, I can post your scripts.
