Introduction
There are a lot of ways to make money online; the problem is which the best way which suits your needs is. I have found a way which isn’t too much time consuming and in return you will be able to make a lot of cash (it depends what means a lot to you J ) First of all you must make sure something, every kind of business on the internet needs an amount of money to kick start the business , its like investing now and getting the profit tomorrow. Many webmasters fail to make money because they are not investing anything; they want to make money just by getting a free blog and posting daily. Im not saying that you can’t make money without spending a cent but it will take a lot of time and effort for you.
This article will help you understand how much you would like to earn per month , if you would like to earn 1k $ , then you will need to invest 2k $ once and you will get monthly 1k$ if you don’t screw anything up J.

Getting Started

First of all you must decide on what niche your forum must be , actually you will build your forum for the main purpose of profiting so if you choose a niche like flowers , you wont get paid too much so you must think , what on earth would make thousand of members to Register on my forum , and the answer is “Money Making Forums”. This niche is by far one of the best niches and most profitable. Remember that you must have a good domain name and a secure hosting as you will be getting a lot of traffic and your members will not like a free forum or a hosting which is down once a week. Also make sure to choose a qualified staff (maybe 4 moderators is enough) so they will help you maintaining your forum.
What Forum Software to Use?
It is really important what forum will you use! From my own experience, best forums for a Money Making Board are

- Vbulletin

- phpBB

A lot of bots are signing up and posting spam posts (However there are some modifications over www.phpbb.com which might stop this)

After you have decided what forum to use , you will need to get a designer to design logos and banners for your Money Making Forum. This will help your forum to get more traffic and be more professional.

Forum Is Installed, Now What?
After you have successfully installed your forum and its template, its time to create the categories. Make sure you have a lot of different and specific categories like Forex , Get Paid To , Investments , Currency etc so each member will have it easy to find what is he looking for. You should install also some modifications in order to make your forum better. I would suggest you the following mods:
Cash Mod -It can be used to credit members for every post they make. You can set the values like 2 Points per thread and 1 point per reply via ACP
Referral Plus -Its a good way to bring more members in your community. You can credit members for every new referral 5 points or a reward for him so he will be eager to advertise your site
Moderator CP This plugin is really helpful as it allows Moderators to ban a member ! It creates a Moderator Control Panel from which they can ban a member.
Adverts as Posts -You can add your advertisement after first post or last post so every member will see that advertisement
Quick Post - Allow users to use a quick reply form which is placed below every topic. Extra features included.
All these hacks are for phpBB (free version)

You Have a Finished Forum but Only 1 Registered member

Before starting advertising it, make sure you make some rules and F.A.Q ! In order to have a quickly populated forum, I would strongly suggest you launch some offers for your new members so they will want to join as they will get free money from it:
Register Now And Get 0.1$
Member Who Reaches First 100 Posts Get 5$
Get Paid For Your Referrals , Every Referral 0.2 or 0.1$
Get Paid To Post , 0.1$ per thread and 0.05$ per reply

If you have funds, you can use 3 of them so your board will get huge amount of traffic within one week. If you don’t have enough money than choose the first one or any of them but remember that , if you don’t have enough funds you will have less members than one that will have a capital to invest.

You have a great niche so everybody would like to join your forum and start earning money from you. I would suggest you to visit these forums and make a post in the Advertisement Section or Get Paid To Section (Make sure you won’t spam)

So make sure you make a good and informative post (try to explain everything and be professional) With a bit of luck and experience , you will have at least 100 registered members for the first three days (My Previous Paid To Post Forum Had 5000 Members for the first week , this because of the high rates)
How Will I Make Profit From My Forum?
Now this is the best part, I will list you some ways how to make good money from your forum.
1 – Adsense Program (You can try Adbrite or AzoogleAds if you are banned from Adsense)
2 - WidgetsBucks
3 - Text-Link-Ads
4 – Money4Banners
You will also be earning a lot of money through your forum. How exactly will this work? (This is method can be really a great source for your income online)
After you have reached at least a member base of 1000 (normally it will take you 2-3 weeks) then you will have to open a special section on your forum with the title “Verified Programs” where you will list all the current paying programs. The problem is how will you find those programs? Simply go to InvestDaddy.com and check which the best HYIP Program is at the moment. Contact them and tell them that you will dedicate them a special place on your forum where you will display all the information of their program and all the payouts done. Lets say, you will charge them 100$ for this purpose. If they accept, invest those dollars again in their programs so the owner of that program will have to pay you because you will be showing your proof to +1000 members. So by this way you will be making a great income from only one HYIP program. Imagine how much you can make if you list 5 HYIP’s under your “Verified Programs” folder. Do not forget that everyday more than 100 HYIP’s are opened and what you have to do is just contact them.
This information was posted based on my personal experience however do not forget that you must initial capital to succeed.

I dislike empty forums without any posts but with plenty of sections, subforums etc.

Yes my friend it is if you like it I think there are many forum scripts out there

vBulletin, phpBB, PUNBB, SimpleBB, SMF, MyBB etc.

You can also start a new thread in web development section, if you like to know more about forum softwares or want more information on any particular forum software.

Yes I agree it's an interesting article. There are two things that I would like to add:

1- Olgi is right with regards to the money making niche because this is such a vast niche that everyday more and more people are coming in to it because we all like to make money, and that's why if any one wants to earn money he won't have a deficient of customers in this niche.

2- There could be some discouragement for people with regards to the method described by Olgi for generating traffic/members on the forum, i.e. offering money incentive for joining. It might be viable for those who have some money to invest but what do those people do who can't invest money in the initial phase.

I personally think that we can also use social marketing methods to generate traffic to our forum and try to think of some other non-monetary incentives, like instead of paying the real money, we can offer forum currency to the new members because since forum currency will be an integral part of our forum, so new members will need it.


Anyway it's an interesting idea presented by Olgi although it's not unique but still a viable idea I must say.
I have a domain and i had been thinking what to do with it, so now I know what I'll do with it, and hopefully within a month I'll return to this thread and post my results for others to see how it went.

Same here. I don't care so much about making money. I pay my hosting fees, which is not killing me, i'd just want my site used by members that enjoy a free-to-use platform.
If it makes money fine, if not - no big deal, it's going to be a while before my bandwith is maxed.

Just a suggestion and if you can help:-

1) In your MMK Forum....I aint going to post anything until I get the LATEST rates you are going to pay, as you said in your previous offer that it ends on Jan something...The offer has ended, the new rates arent out...
So am sure you arent gonna pay anyone who posts after the offer...

2) In your forum, the Links are skipping everytime I wanna click...Even when i want to register, in which case I cant even get registered due to this problem...

the whole idea is great. Do-able... except the HYIP parts.. I "graduated" from joining hyip business last year just one month before started my domain parking business. Reason is simple... almost all the hyip programs end up with scam. Left me with total lost about 7k US$. Now.. if i'm trying to offer some hyip programs wich i surely know could hurt so much for the sake of my profit.... may be "the hyip" part should just replace by other programs.. like forex affiliate or paid product's review.. maybe.
