If you're not into tutorials and want to learn everything on your own, start by trying out the items on the tool box one by one. Then when you think you've got their purpose figured out, familiarize yourself with each item on the drop down menu. If you know how to use Photoshop, then Flash won't be so difficult. Just keep this in mind: Layers & frames.:)

This is the best site for HTML for me.I use only this site :) Flash is very difficult and it's not like Photoshop for me of course.If you want to do something with Photoshop you just write desire operation in google and first results are tutorials.But tutorials aren't enough to learn so complex program like FLASH or some other ADOBE Product or any else program language -go to nearest book store and buy BOOKS :) Not e-books - Real book is the best way.Oh and practice also ;) Try try and try again.Read and try this is the way for me.

Well seriously telling. I have just installed it and spent some weeks playing with it.

Same thing I did with Photoshop and PHP and all other languages. But it depends how much you learn and how much you are testing the tools provided in it.

If you want to learn it by reading then maybe some online tutorials will help you get started but still after that try to make some initial projects and you will learn faster.

Use tutorials online and purchase a couple of books from Amazon. That is how I started designing flash adverts. :)

even if that was comprehensible, it's still completely wrong.

I learnt flash, like most people here, by going through tutorials, looking at examples, and generally having a play.
