Help! Funky Stats & I don't want to be banned
 

Hi, i woke up this morning and saw that one of my below average sites had 22 clicks today and 56 page impressions..

ok, i'm freaking out cuz my awstats only show 28 unique visitors for the whole month....no big flow of traffic. this is a site i'm working on, no realy seo done yet, so i'm not expecting a lot of traffic

what's going on? is this real? should i email google? i've never had 22 clicks in one day, that's just crazy.

google gets tons of emails from paranoids adsense users. You will not be banned it could just be a good day. There is no ctr where google starts to think, hey you're making us too much money. They will yell at you if its fraud though, but assuming its not then who cares just enjoy.

Just Send a mail to Google telling that there is a unusual click activity and ask them to check it. They will send you a "copy and paste" reply and just keep it , just in case so you can tell them that you had report them if anything goes wrong.

Someone might be targetting you on purpose. You should take down the adsense code from this website for few days and also notify to google.

Sufi seems to have a very valid point. This could most probably be the case if you have enemies in school/college who knows knows about adsense and you are running it.

I'd suggest emailing google with your stats.
