Are you stating that these ARE (and should only be considered as), at this point in time, ALL confirmed / verified / "reported sales (past tense)" from Sedo Round I ... for purposes of "comp's"?

Again, thank you for addressing the question. mTLD will probably obtain all requisite Buyer information at the time of entering into the agreement, Buyer's acceptance of the "development requirements", and then obtaining the necessary authorization code(s) to, in effect, register the domain name(s) ... is that your opinion, as well?

Obviously I understand that a sale is truly completed when the funds are paid and the name is transferred. But as I stipulated for the reasons in my previous post, I am confident that these were valid buyers and the auctions will be completed. You are trying to suggest that people should not use these SEDO auction #1 sales numbers as guides to bidding at the upcoming premium name auctions. I would personally feel as comfortable using any of the final selling prices of the 80 successful bids at the SEDO .mobi auction #1 as .mobi pricing comps. Sales comps are but one tool to use if previously "sold" names are very similar to any names being considered in the upcoming SEDO .mobi auction #2, #3, or TRAFFIC Miami auction.

Buyers of these "premium" names agree to be bound by mTLD's development time frame and compliance conditions once they place a bid on a name. These conditions apply whether or not the buyer uses the optional "privacy-protect" feature at their registrar.

Do you agree that this was a very watched and scrutinized auction?

Do you agree that the SEDO .mobi auction exposure, promotion, and multiple bidders makes it very different from often-cited examples of unsuccessful single auctions - and that the probability that these SEDO .mobi auctions will end in successful transactions is thus VERY high?

Do you agree that there are valid reasons why someone might decide to "privacy-protect" their domain names?

Let's go with the facts & figures as presented in the "reported sales" on DNJ ... for the purposes here of the ongoing updates to the master Buyer's List (also to include specific development and promotion plans as well, if known)!

Naturally, and we've already established that above - I believe - that mTLD would still have the ability to enforce the "development requirements" with the information obtained for the release / permitting of the authorization codes (for registration), etc.

No need on your part for name-calling and mud-slinging ... I've been consistent with regard to the need for adoption of the critical developed .MOBI "ecosystem", and my belief & opinion that the .MOBI is in a "race against time" (with emerging and advancing mobile technoligies (specifically, browsers and auto-detection / GPS)). I feel that this race - and, on prior points, to match the lofty expectations of most here (which is the context for my previous posts on the matter) - has to some degree already been lost, in my view. But it's possible that in 10+/+ years that the .MOBI (IF the developed "ecosystem" is ensured and then further adopted and promoted) could carve out a niche in the future Mobile Web - perhaps even a healthy one for those that created and promoted unique and compelling websites for those that are "on the go"!
Who knows what the future holds ...

Because it had been requested ... I'll create a heading in BOLD with the caveat that they did not have, at the time, "development requirements", as you've suggested IMHO. I like the suggestion, as it will be a very good way for all of us to track their important developments (though, again, not mandated in these cases) and evolution of the important developed "ecosystem"!

I agree. I am a believer of .mobi and love it but I mention couple big risk factors and or how to brand around a generic term that .mobi users would love and value and my comments get deleted.
