OK, I got the itch to see what happens; so I put Anaz.com on e-bay, and it will start tomorrow afternoon. Part of me is scared that someone will buy the name; I got this feeling I shouldn't sell yet, but lets see what happens.

lol,

My curiousity got to me as well.

I've got 2 ebay auctions ending in 4 hours. While one is doing well the other is doing poorly.
Both have 2 premium letters and 1 good and 1 poor each. One has and advantage in that both 2 letter combos are abbreviations. Although they do not work perfectly with each other they seem to be working well enough.

One is at $1.04 and the other is at $40 with 4 hours left. I also posted both ads as plain generic looking with out any pics.

We'll see ......

I put Anaz~.com up for a 10 day auction on e-bay yesterday, and it's already up to $100 with 9 days left. Part of me would enjoy selling for $1500, the other part of me thinks in a year something like Anaz could be worth low $$,$$$

I get the feeling that next year things will once again explode with domain names, the second inning is coming, and that may be a stronger inning than the first one. Some would call my optimism wishful thinking, but I believe that markets rise and fall; it's only a matter of time before domain prices re-spike.

Congrats .... you should see quite a bit more (imho). I was explaining to my wife how I should just reg all my LLLL.COM's for 5 years and ignor them until then. LOL .... that was just two days ago.

Let me ask you a question. Do you peffer longer auctions? 10 or 7 day vs 3 or 5 day? I thend to use the short term auction.

Thanks

I'm just looking to see what happens, I have no time preference, and even less experience with domain auctions on e-bay . I only get involved with my domains when an end user contacts me about them, and I have a great sale. In a few weeks I will be to busy with work or the beach to worry about domain names; and I'll slip back into obscurity.

I'd rather sell 1 domain for 7500, then 10 domains for 750.

how much would you advise to bid on a CCVC.com (all premium letters) ?
It is a small US towns airport code, has only 16,000 results in google, not really pronounceable, but possible with a little imagination

EDIT: P.S. namenut- just saw one your names at ebay, thought about bidding, but decided not to afterall, 2 non premium letters...

ok, the name I was talking about is KCUH.com
I had the winning bid of 11$, but had to go away just at the time of ending and didn't put a max bid, so it was sold to someone for 11,50$

I just snagged a good one from the drop:

jmnz*c0m

Good starting letters and NZ to finish. Lots of end-user potential IMO. .net reg'd since 2004 and .co.nz live financial site. I love domains like this

If two of the letters make sense and are in the right place it must add value.

Matt.

Yes Matt, good catch, especially if the .co.nz is developed you did really well.

Other than that it could be Job M (something) New Zealand.

Oh...by the way, I keep updating the first post of this thread anytime I have new info, which was yestarday

$2,550 illo.com (this was clearly a great VCCV)

I updated the SEDO auctions above and I`m shocked myself on how high in price they are going.

Now instead , a couple of interesting auctions on Ebay ending in few hours.

One is great name , hot VCVC:

OXUD.com

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...0%3D%26fvi%3D1

and the other one is a low quality CVCV for the people that consider Y a vowel even if it`s at the second spot so I won`t consider it a vowel:
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=378968

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...6849%26fvi%3D1

I think that OXUD.com is worth AT LEAST $500 but let`s see if anyone gets a bargain. I sold a very similar one on SEDO. It was OZUD.com for $330 but it was August and prices have increased more for VCVC.com

Good luck!

so...OXUD went for a cheap but decent $264.00

Bargain buy.

Someone is getting a HUGE BARGAIN at Afternic:

iFLU.com is ending in 32 hours and it`s just at $300

http://www.afternic.com/name.php?id=575707

Someone may start to smile here.....have a look at this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...0%3D%26fvi%3D1
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=378968

$137.50 for a very crappy average LLLL with Z , W and H.....not even a vowel.

GYLO.com $200 not finished yet

http://www.sedo.com/auction/auction_...ed=&partnerid=

and this last one is quite surprising: NGOS.com which was sold right at SEDO just recently. Only yestarday SEDO reported its sale price which was $2,450

It seems the new owner did not wait long to relist it on auction but with a reserve much higher:

http://www.sedo.com/auction/auction_...ed=&partnerid=

Current bid is already $3,000 (I`d like to know what`s so special about this name!)

I bidded up to $1600 for Ngos.com . I think we cannot count it as an LLLL because it is a very used acronym with loads of wdtracker results.

Too bad I did not have more money, as I had some development plans with this one, since I am also active in many local and national ngo's.

Thanks guys for the info. Anyway at SEDO it seems that LLLL.com are getting well above $100 each no matter how ugly the combo is!

CUJJ.com got ended at $211 and ONDV.com at $350

I just talked to my sedo rep and gave her a list of my good LLLL's to list in broker auctions, but she only agreed to auction the one that is worth $2K+, the rest that are in ranges of $500-1500 reseller prices aren't good enough :\
Is that their usual limit for broker auctions?

So I'll have to get some offers to start these heh

Tell to your SEDO rep to look at the above listed auctions then (or change SEDO rep )
