This is comparing .tv to useless extensions such as .name and .cc, with the exception of .mobi. .mobi has doubled in number since the postings in october where as .tv has not increased by as high a %. .tv has also been around for many more years than .mobi so it will naturally be higher total numbers for now. I still like .tv though (just not as much as .mobi) and think it will continue to increase just like I think .mobi will keep going up.

Well it is just a sale at godaddy. Before xmas they were $24. They went back up to $39 (I did not buy at that price!!) Then they drop the price again?? I think they hit on something they want to keep. You will start to see sales on .tv all the time from now on!!

Just wanted to mention that my Godaddy account representive has offered to renew .TV domains in bulk for $25.00. But I'm still going to move my domains somewhere else. Their standard renewal fee is crazy.

If you have an Executive Account Representive, Godaddy will negotiate the price of .TV renewals.

I just happened to run site:tv with Google Safesearch function turned on.
And got the following result :
"Results 1 - 10 of about
15,400,000 for site:tv with Safesearch on. "
Looks like almost 2/3 of TVs been used for .......

Those numbers come from developed sites getting their thousands of internal pages indexed, not millions of new parked pages. Great sign that all this dev is happening though.

There have been lots of ,mobi registrations but actually very little development there.
That's one of the main problems with .mobi : lots of speculation and almost no development, while .tv is completely the opposite.
