I noticed myspace.tv is a url where as myspacetv.com redirects to videos.myspace.com although both bring up the same site,so you may be on to something.
I like to think that most of us participating in this forum are about 5 to 10 years ahead of the pack. It's not a question of "If", it's a matter of "When".
Good luck to you all!

Yes and no. We don't need myspace. Rooting for demand media, channel.tv
Would rather see facebook.tv then that dump over hyped myspace.
As you can see I dislike myspace.
Very encouraging numbers here. I knew this would happen as well as other domainers. If go daddy ever drops there price again there will be a huge land rush for .tv again.
Its a lost cause. I did a dedicated thread a few days back on my views and frank was a good part of this even though most of the readers missed my main point which was that frank should do his own ppc network and dump the parking companies. I also said he needs to be in the .tv field if he were to do this his own social graph and ppc channels
Anyways. My thoughts were on 7 mile and everyone concentrated on .tv view points.
I admit frank is missing out, everyone views this I think but its a lost cause. Frank has his 340000 names, does great, I respect him and probably best in the industry.
We don't need frank to be a supporter of .tv. We are headed in high growth without Frank. Frank is dot com, dot net.
Point being. We have so many people in .tv that are bigger then frank or get the brandable side of .tv. No this is not an insult against frank but the bottom line is this. We have demand media, national.tv rolling out soon, social networks will follow and corporations. Between all of this I would pick any of these groups ahead of frank.
i still think frank needs .tv and if he were to hire aron wall, form his ppc network he will do some .tv stuff.
We can't twist his arm. Its a lost cause. A guy here even offered frank a free .tv name, cayman name and frank said no.
I think frank has a few .tv names in his portfolio that are either hidden away or private. Is this a fact? Probably not, would it shock me if he does. No. He just won't say anything.
Do what you wish mike but all of this was done 2 weeks back or so and the rookie landed on 7 mile.
Just my 2 cents worth. I don't want to be back on 7 mile. I got my 2 second glory and frank commented on this and info I said. He just didn't comment on the ppc network theory of mine and people here concentrated .tv extension.
As a few namepro hitters said in my thread. We have our own view points, I have mine, you have yours and etc. Frank has his and that works for him. He is in his own league. Is he missing the boat? Sure he is. But life goes on. I would rather see the facebook.com explode into the .tv and crush this over hype myspace junk company. Yes I said that. Would I want my space in .tv and be good for us? Yes it would. Just favor face book
I would like to point out it's refreshing to visit Namepros and view a reasonable discussion thread about .TV, and other extensions for that matter. Some forum(s) become corrupted with rabid anti-sentiment toward anything non dotcom. There are, of course, nasty little reasons for that.
Quite honestly, Namepros is one of the most open-minded, constructive forums for all levels of domaining.
However, the namepros mobi mentors are rude, mobi domainers know everything and being a newer person they surly don't like new people or thoughts on branding.
Besides that, yes you are right. The .tv forum is very polite, nice, treat people the way would want to be treated.
Enjoy namepros. If you hit mobi forum, go in there with thick stomach.
Since the time of my first post, .TV has taken the lead!
.tv = 23.2 million sites
.biz = 20.4 million sites
.cc = 8.97 million sites
.mobi = 4.3 million sites
.name = 2.75 million sites

The .mobi extension has taken a lot of heat lately. Frank has clearly stated it's a worthless extension (as proven with the iphone full-browser capability)and I think the folks over in the .mobi section are tired of hearing about it. I can't blame them for being disgruntleled, but be careful when heading over there.
Hey Jeff, thanks for your feedback and I completely agree. The problem with Frank is that he has all these unbelieveable .coms, but it's caused him to become disconnected with today's speculators and investors. He has trouble identifying "what's next" because he doesn't need to worry about it.
I'm rooting for .TV as much as any of you, but I'd just like to point out that the statistics you've got there are NOT for the number of developed sites for each TLD. There are fewer than 700,000 registered .mobi names to begin with, so there's no way that there could be 4 million indexed sites. Are there even 23 million (to quote your most recent number) registered .TV names?
When I enter site:.(mobi), actually typing in the parentheses, I get 483,000, which sounds much closer to what one would expect, although still most likely too high at this point. When I do the same with site:.(tv), I get 2,020,000. So I would see that as also most likely being at least more realistic.
When I take OFF the parentheses, I get 752,000 for .mobi, which is still impossible, and 11,500,000 for .tv, which I would also venture to say is impossible, despite its growing popularity.
So I'm fairly certain your numbers are way off. At best, those numbers may approximate the number of indexed pages, not sites.
Sorry for this mistake...my stats should have referred to ".tv indexed pages"
It's still good news.

Whether it's pages or sites it's still an apples-to-apples comparison of how .tv is growing compared to everyone else. Quite an accomplishment.
On a side note, I just spoke with ENOM on Firday and they say there's an important update to ChannelME coming later this month. If it's ads, then I think this number of .tv "pages/sites" could take a nice spike.
