Do we need SSN to participate in Google Adsense
 

Do we have to give our SSN to Google Adsense? What happen if we do not give it to them? Do they pay us? Suppose I live in the U.S?

Please give me what you know.

I'm not authoritative on the subject But when I signed up for Adsense it says
for for U.S resident *required* for SSN, or *ignore* if your foreign.

for us need a SSN to track the revenues and necessary tax forms for yourself

I'm not from US and it was never required but I guess it is must for US members.

Yes that is correct. I put us instead of the U.S. :) it is to cover their rears as well as ours for our SSN. They have to say they paid X in the UK and that is why there is no taxes being paid on it. Member Y has a SSN and they should pay taxes since they are from the U.S.
