Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

Very nice input, but due to market price changes , I`d list it based on date rather than in alphabetical order. The 2006 sales look like HUGE bargains now.

I think tripple letter LLLL's are a good buy, they are one of the rarest LLLL.com kinds and will definitely continue to grow in price

Wow, the prices seem to be going up slowly every week; I'm betting at the end of the month the settling down period will be over, and that means it's going to be a nice New Years for those who wish to sell. I still say hold until the middle of next year.

If we elect a Democrat, domain names will skyrocket; people will have a sense of hope again. If we elect another Republican, well, we'll have to wait another 4 years for prices to shoot up. Not a political rant, just what I've noticed; but hear this. When the election comes next year, you'll be able to get some nice prices for these; if you can wait that long.

Agreed. Min wholesale is up to ~ $15 now from about $10 a couple weeks back. Forum sales threads appear to be slowing now, perhaps fueling additional demand as LLLL.coms slowly find their way into stronger hands. Triple premium + Q seem to have recognized the largest ROI over the last couple weeks - moving from an average of about $15 to many sales in the $25-$35 range.

Black Friday hitting home? Prices are down a fair bit today. From $12 LLLL.coms to repeat letter LLLL.coms for $20-25. Clearly, the market has tanked a bit in the last 24 hours. The question... Is now the right time to buy in, or would it be best to wait a few more days. IMHO, it may be best to wait a few days... I know that's what I'll be doing (although I have other reasons for that -- stupid moneybookers investigating me for money laundering... BAH!) :D

One thing I should mention... Now is NOT a good time to sell.

substitute:

1) "dn_table" with actual table name you are using in your db

2) "dn_name" with the corresponding field name

3) add whatever other letters to be considered as "premium" to the [aAeEiIoObBcCdDtTsSrR] portion ...

so based on MG's spec ->

The fact is that prices raised since start of November. Approx 25-50% for one month.

Bad letter LLLL.coms (2+ bad letters) could easily be had for under regfee as late as late October. Even after this market correction, prices are still far, far above what they were back then. LLLL.coms with 2 bad letters (1 semi-premium [J,K,U,V,W,Y] and 1 real bad [Q,X,Z]) peaked earlier this week with many selling in the $20+ range. We're seeing more sales in the $15 range now. LLLL.coms with 1 bad letter (Q,X,Z) were usually fetching $25-$30+ earlier this week and have now settled around $18-$25.

The fact that these names were up 300% from a month ago led many to believe a "three steps forward, two steps back" was inevitable... They obviously couldn't continue to climb in value at such a rate and perhaps Black Friday was only part of the problem -- the other being investor expectations.

Irregardless, prices are still considerably higher than they were pre-buyout and anyone who picked up names for regfee back then is sitting on a very nice investment -- even now.

Prices will bounce back for those patient enough to wait. It might take awhile... But what's the hurry if you bought your names in the October-November rush? By February or March, I'm sure we'll be seeing a $30 min wholesale. A couple months later, it just might start to crash again as people start unloading their LLLL.coms in a frenzy because they can't afford renewals :lol:
