I wouldn't mind if all premiums would go for $100. Just picked up Sigd.com for less than $200. It is a Jewish-Ethiopian festival, regged since 1998. Will be developed very soon.

This one is cheap too...
I thought it would go much higher and didn't place my bid.

Sorry, but I have never been a blind fanboy of LLLL.com, especially the low end. So you must be confused. I have been picking up LLLL.com far below market value from before the peak to now. It makes no difference to me.

I am not a flipper, and I can do fine in any market. I have faith in quality LLLL.com long term, which is the only thing that matters to me.

Gee, Snoop doesn't get sarcasm. Lighten up man.

I would welcome the day when I could pick up quads for $100. I would just be able to buy more long term holds.

Wishful thinking Brad. But ya know, in a way I think it (the low-end market) is already showing signs of rebound. I mean, when was the last time we had the oddball $2 sales that 'those guys' were rambling about nonstop when they occured? Over a month ago? What a way to waste your time.

Nice pick-up, Daniel , researching it right now.

Yeah I was scratching my head on that one too - I don't recall you being bullish like that, for 10 or for any number of months. You've just been calling it like it is, like most the rest of us have been.

quads are held by a few big players. the risk is if they fold.

Snoop certainly has me confused with someone else. My first post in this thread is after the "Peak" in April, and even then I made the following comments. I have always been objective.

To me the top end of CVCV.com prices are easily justified, but the lower end in my mind will see a fall sooner or later. Just because something is CVCV, I don't consider it awesome to start with as some people seem to.

Just my opinion.

At least not enough of a difference to justify $400+ for a random quad vs $50-$100 for the triple premium with good 4th letter.

Personally I think the CVCV market is slightly overpriced and will see a correction. Not all CVCV are created equal and I think the lower tier could drop, and the upper tier could rise more.

I dont understand why ppl are comparing big high quality LLLL.com with low quality one...
now if you say that QUIZ.com if its sold for $100,000 and then say but my low quality domains are selling for few dollars..... There is absolutely no comparison over here...

Also the market is falling for as i see... There are more quad drops at TDNAM than ever...
These drops and the prices of each quad staying as low as $130 just shows that the market is gonna fall more....

BUT What Goes down always Comes UP...

Im not sure if your comment about quads is right. I just checked TDNAM and there are only 70 LLLLs listed for auction in the next 10 days. Only 8 of them are quad premiums. Four of these quad premiums already have bids above $150.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=358387

With several days still to finish most of the auctions, I seriously doubt that a single one of them will end below $150 (no to mention the remote possibility that any of them could end below $130). So, what are you basing your comments on? Id like to see some figures supporting your argument.

The complete list of quads listed at TDNAM and the highest bids at the moment are:

PMLB $190
LOEO $255
HCET $57 (2 days to end)
CPDN $175
TTLD $155
PEDF $60 (6 days to end)
GPBD $67 (6 days to end)
LNGH $20 (10 days to end)

This is the dumbest comment yet. Ummm... right now is a great time to buy domains. I am glad to see you took at $9,000 loss on a name that you should have never sold in this market to begin with. You have probably taken similar bad beats on domain sells lately to keep talking like this. What even possessed you to sell a name like that with today's economy? Looks like you bought way to high, just like people did in February with mediocre LLLL's. Now that they are selling for a huge loss, you might as well do it to. I think everytime you bring up low sales of LLLL's in a market your not even invested in, I will bring up the triple "J" sale that you lost heavily on. I don't even have any LLL's, but I should bring your sale up, everytime you post, since I'm a pro in the LLL market.

Wrong. The market fell from March to October. That makes it 8 months not 10. In November the minimum price raised a bit (check LLLL.COM guide) and IMHO it has remained at that level or even increased a bit more in December. Looks like somebody needs to overcome his denial phase.

Fortunately for Snoop the AUD has declined a lot lately against the USD since July. June-July was the high point for the LLL.com market however that was also the high point for the AUD against the USD. The LLL.com market has fallen about 50% since then, Snoop getting about half that back thanks to how much the AUD has dropped since then (correct me if I'm off here Snoop -- you live in AU, I don't!)

I have taken losses on about 4 domains out of around 50 sales this year.

The big mistake I made was not selling this name faster. Agree that the purchase price was way too high, I misjusged that one at the time. Personally I think the LLL.com and LLLL.com market will decline further.

The good thing is, I will never take a $9,000 loss on any name. I envy you.
I have beeen very negative on the LLL.com market for a long time so it won't be saying much. When the price was $7000 minimum I told people here I thought the price was going to halve. I sold most of my stock but not all.

Realisitically most LLLL.com holders probably have losses on almost all of their stock.

Generally (not specifically in regards to LLLL.com) I can't imagine anyone really who has been buying in the last few years who doesn't have losses on some % of their portfolio right now.

The minimum going from $3 to $4 doesn't mean much, the reg fee erosion over those 2 months is $1.33. So it is just further losses.

As I have said for a while the main issue facing the low quality names now is the reg fee value falling. Whether they trade at $1 or $4 isn't that important.
