So we are finally getting these not-renewed LLLL.coms that were registered at GoDaddy from buy-out times! Creation Date: 26-oct-2007. So I think next week will be very hot at TDNAM and prices will see the new floor!

the good thing is.. after that week, very little LLLL.coms will drop, so prices will gain again

pay attention to pdfq.com 2002 year of registration! What I like in TDNAM is that they preserve registration date!

The absolute majority of not renewed domains were from 25th and partially from 25th of October registrations.

Might be a bit late but I'm another one of those who paid for a domain listed by "Janel Clowes" on Sedo, it was SQQQ.com and I promptly and never received the domain.

After few days I received an e-mail from Sedo saying that the seller never pushed the domain to their account and the transaction is canceled.

Beware!

I really dislike NameJet and like sites. I put a backorder on SRRA.com for $69. Once I did that they added it to there site so others can bid as well. That really sucks, what is the purpose of creating a back order if they are going to share with everyone. So now that I back ordered the domain I'll probably make NameJet a couple hundred bucks.

Did you think no 1 else would backorder SRRA?

Not really, guess I was hoping no one else would back order it. In fact there is four LLLL.com's dropping today that are not affiliated with SnapNames or NameJet, this was one of them. The other three, well I'll just try to get them if they drop in the next few minutes

Do you really think that you was the only who wanted to backorder it?
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=358387
But also how can you blame NameJet? This is their business and they want this domain to sell for as much as possible so they are very smart and try to make maximum exposure to the domains that were backordered.

Not really, guess I was hoping no one else would back order it. In fact there is four LLLL.com's dropping today that are not affiliated with SnapNames or NameJet, this was one of them. The other three, well I'll just try to get them if they drop in the next few minutes
srra.com is on main page of Pool.com BTW. So you had no chance that you was the only who noted it. Any quad-premium is backordered with at least 10 bidders at SN.

i know but i can dream...

i agree that it's namejets business but it's a poor practice. to me the purpose of a back order service is to do just that, back order the domain name for me.

godaddy does not showcase there back orders. i use them a lot for keyword domains and do pretty good.

You can't compare GoDaddy backorder to SnapNames & NameJet.

If someone backordered any domain on Snap or NJ, it would be so hard to capture it by Godaddy. IMO

There are dozens of people who agree with you, but there are also dozens of people who wish to snag the same name from you as well.

In a perfect world, the first person to backorder the name should get first dibs on it. But the backorder companies know they can make big money if they let all backordering go to auction. It's a dog eat dog world.

Hey, I know this is a little late in the game, but just to be clear, don't deal with Thomas Clowes. I got the email too, (which I got excited about) and told him that it would look stupid for me to post something about his auction. We could work something out with an incentive.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=358387

But I shouldn't deal with him.

Edit:

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayIS...eedbackAsBuyer

His ebay seems legit. Over 1,000 posistive trades, some being domains (e.g. llll.coms)

I was backordering it via Pool information. First I go to pool. Look at nice domains and backorder them via NJ/SN/Pool.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=358387

Finally NJ seems not to attract as many bidders as SN. The name finally went to SN auction with 21 bidders

I have had some deals with this Clowes in the past.
He has listed on eBay some VCVC.com domain names with a wrong expiration date: the listings said they would expire in 1 year but in really they were already expired.
Since the registrar was name.com, they use to "renew" the domain until the owner pay for the renewal (or the domain would be deleted), so the whois looked fine.
After he pushed the domains to my account (i don't know why, but on Name.com it's possible to push expired names) and i have noticed that, i asked him to refund me part of the money and he did with no problems.

Anyway, i'm not telling everyone has to trust in him, but i have no problems on these deals (i've bought some delicious VCVC.coms for low-mid $xx). Maybe he uses to be honest on eBay and not honest on elsewhere? We will never know.

Hey guys, i'm very glad to see LLLL.coms market is slowly rising up again

More often than not, people have more than 1 account here to shill bid on their own names, form pseudo identities, or to break other rules without consequence.

There's no logical, legit reason to have multiple accounts, certainly not 40(?) of them.

Be careful dealing with anyone banned here or elsewhere -- more likely than not the reason is justified.

Oh i didn't know that... well, yes, absolutely don't trust in him.

Even if i and few others had good experiences with him.

At least, i'm not going to bid on those domain names.
