Actually, my total number of LLLLs is dropping - down to about 120 (from a high of 250+), with a bulk deal in the works that might sell half of them. I've sold off most of the ones that had 2 premiums or fewer. But I'm raising my stock of triple-premiums, now up to 21 and climbing.

has anyone noticed something strange at tdnam expired auction today? I tried to bid on few names ending today, but they all skyrocket to the $80-100 area. Although they are not even tripple premium.

Yes, here is what happened: prices stayed low 2 days ago when I sold 2 double-premiums at TDNAM for $15 each. After that, everybody said "Now that Dave's domains are sold, let's drive the prices way up!"

yes, more demand....as planned, holidays over and the flip-flop-flippers on the $30-$50 range are ending, so stage 3 of the rise , we go over the wall of $60 to go towards the $100.....(for the worst ones).

Dave, of course, the market was waiting for you to finalise the sale and now everyone is rising the prices

could you please let me know next time when you finish selling your next stake of names, I will immediatly grab available domains from the market at such incredible prices

looks like we will see the $100 level for double premium already in February. Unbelivable! Jut two months ago, shortly before the sellout, I was proposing to domainers at NP to maintain the minimum price of $15, and almost no one was really interested. And now the average prices are at around $50 for the normal LLLLs. I start to belive to some professional domainers who predict the $400 level for average LLLL by the end of this year!

SWEET MUSIC Look , someone here is selling 500+ LLLL at $75 each, $50 if in Bulk.....that is about $40,000.

I am not going to sell more than 3 or 5 each month at the maximun just to buy more. I`d kick myself if by 2010 we see $1,000 each so I want to stay all IN for the very long run.

tdnam expired auctions are getting more and more expensive. in this scenario it is worth to take a look at "bid now" listings (remark: I do not list any of my domains there, I am only buying there )

in "bid now" section of tdnam there are currently 88 domains listed below $100 (down from 134 domains yesterday). Still, it is possible to find some not really expensive there (i.e there are 4 domains at $39 and 22 domains at $49).

Hovewer, at the current pace of rising LLLL prices, it shall be no domains below $100 at tdnam "bid now" section by February 01, 2008 (or even earlier) IMHO.

If it's any consolation, it does seem like triple premiums are going to be the big winner this month in terms of ROI... Maybe premiums will ease off for just enough time for you to gather the necessary capital
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=358387

I'd say you have < 1 month before premiums start to rise significantly again.
