There are some web hosts out there that offer unmetered VPS which have a speed limit instead of a volume limit. For ex: a limit of say 5mbps. Is such hosting suitable for proxy websites or is the speed of the connection going to cause slow loading? Is the connection likely to be a bottle neck?
Do volume packages that have a limit on the amount of bandwidth you can use but not on the speed of your connection result in faster speeds?
For a proxy, I think you are better off with an unmetered VPS which have a speed limit instead of a volume limit. Whilst you will at times have slower loading times, proxy sites often use a lot of bandwidth.
Well, I think speed matters a lot for a proxy site, that's what visitors want when they are looking for proxy services, so why not good dedicated server?
