cancerreports.org., looks alot better.

Does anyone know the best way to get automatic news feeds displayed on a whypark site. I've tried some Rss tools, but it seems that you have to place the articles you want and update them yourselves. Still not understanding this process.

Cool, thx man. I was thinking about the same thing today, however whypark already has some pretty good rss feed's in the [[mainbody]] and [[relavent]] tags.

I'm just taking about 10 articles every two days and updating the oldones. Once you get your template together it's just a simple copy and paste.

I've done a couple of quick template mods by just tweaking the CSS of the sky blue skin a bit, and inserting some photos hosted at imageshack. I'd like to do more, but I'm kind of holding off to see what WhyPark offers in the future.

Varon,
www.rouletteenligne.com looks great.
I was wondering if anyone here knows how to add text, say a 250 word description of the site, it's purpose, then have the articles below.
I've sent whypark a mail as i'm going to get a designer to put a template together.
So can you guys think of anything else that should be added or would be nice to see, whilst still keeping the template search engine friendly?
When it's finished i'll gladly put the template code on here.

I think if the template were wider, More spacious, It would be better, Then it leaves options for more advertising links, or more content, Plus it just looks better with a wide template, It takes the turnkey- minisite factor away from it, If it covers the whole screen , Imo.....It would also allow for banner advertising in the header.

Is there an easy way to get a aggregate view of vistors to all websites, like in sedo, where you can see all of todays active sites on one page? Maybe I haven't figured out analytics and its a feature on it.

Any info would be great.

google analytics is the way to go. I have 52 domains now and have analytics on about half of them...it rocks the house. I've only been into this domain stuff for about 2 weeks, so 90% of my sites are not even indexed yet.

I'm posting to cancerreports.org once a week and geekfeeder.net daily (since it's what I do professionally). I haven't thought about how i'm going to age my stuff out yet. hmmm...maybe an external link to my hostgator account now that I have unlimited domain hosting there.

Appreciate the help, have started Whypark account

Thanks to your help, I have started a WhyPark account. I have started on several domains (listed in my signature below).

Now, I'm gonna have to figure out how to change out the banner - especially on the BahamaTravelDeals (needs a beach scene). I guess I can go in and edit the HTML and replace the reference to an image hosted elsewhere. I'm not too great with my Frontpage software yet, so I have to stick to very simple edits.

Thanks again for all your help.

I've signed up less than a month ago (all my domains are new and less than a month old). I've made about $40 in adsense based clicks.

I started using whypark recently after reading some reviews on this forum.

I created my first two sites today (both exactly the same):
www.badcredit-loan-mortgage.com

(yes, I know the domain name is less than desirable).
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=347832

and

www.AnyBadCredit.com

I used the centered template added a couple of ad blocks, and an image. I'm going to try to pick up some CSS and HTML tips, and edit the page slightly.

I really like the way they look, and I like that whypark gives me so many customization options.

I added the sitemaps to Google Sitemaps and submitted the site to a bunch of online directories. I'm hoping Google indexes the sites sometime soon. I've heard for Adsense, that indexed sites get more revenue per click than non-indexed...Is this true?

Whypark is looking pretty sweet so far.

So far, I have only worked on some graphics (check out the headers below) to give them a more professional look. I also don't want them to appear to be stock templates so that some directories might reject them.

I created the headers with a small graphics program (Ulead), and created a graphic header file that is 740 X 180. Then I just copied out to the web and then copied and pasted the picture properties (location) into the layout function within Whypark. It took me a few minutes to find it - but it can be hand edited in the CSS file (also change the header file height to 180 from 100). The Title will still automatically print on top of the graphic for you. All you have to do is leave a space in your graphic. You can also change the text location from left to center. Don't worry about messing up the file. All you have to do is edit it again and select a default and it will replace and reload the original layout.

Next step is to submit to some search engines and directories - and also Google Site Maps. Then we'll see what kind of traffic the project will generate.

I just created AnyLemonLaw.com on whypark as well. Right now it's basically idenitcal to AnyBadCredit.com

I plan on reading up on CSS and HTML this weekend, to figure out the best ways to edit the page for maxium optimization. Have newbies with CSS and HTML found this to be hard?

Hey guys....I finally got to read a little bit about CSS over the weekend and made some adjustments to the color scheme on AnyBadCredit.com Can you please take a quick look at let me know if it looks good? Thanks! I'm going to try to read up more on CSS this week, so I can start designing my own whypark templates and get more and more away from the standard whypark stuff. CSS actually doesn't seem that hard to learn. With a little CSS and HTML experience there is no limit to what you can create!
