So...I publically apoligize to all mobi enthusiasts for pissing them off so much the past 2 months. I still think my arguments and logic were very good but market forces are the true tell. The market has spoken. Will it last? I don't know. At this point I feel it's too late for me. I can't afford to drop $xx,xxx buying resale names and I am fairly sure all great names are taken. I am not the needle in the haystack kind of guy.

Anyways..thanks for reading. I was looking forward to an "I told you so" post at some point but instead I got the egg on my face.

I was about to sign up for the dnforum before landrush but luckily chose namepros. I'm so thankful. Not to mention that for some reason everyone abandoned the mobi board on the dnforum around december.

dnforum is still a great forum, but a lot of oldschool members that didnt like mobi and some of the .mobi arguements i had were just great...hahaa.. i look back and it was hilarious.. there wernt nearly as many people on there that regged mobi's..

Living through all the negativity, vitriol, and flaming at forums regarding Dot Mobi has been a learning experience, albeit sometimes there are things you just don't need to hear over and over again, especially when they have been factually disputed or settled via intelligent debate. After the intelligent arguements have been made, most of it seems comes down to territoriality and dot commers have had a lot more years to pee on the hydrants. I think that this .mobi puppy will be lifting its leg high soon enough.

I have been saying this all along. dnforum and domainstate owners just did not have a vision. They themselves thought .mobi would not make it. And some even hated .mobi. How can you expect their forums to do well if they don't believe it themselves?

I actually joined both on the same day. I have fun on both, laugh, get pissed off, good peeps on both.

This forum is a little more (okay, A LOT more) mobi friendly. But one thing that has not gone un-noticed on either site...

i still wouldnt get too excited. some banks getting mobis is obviously a very good thing but still does not ensure the success of .mobi. you guys are sounding like mobi has made it and its world famous already and values are equal to .com and all the mobi haters should all be mad and jealous. it will still take time to see if mobi makes it or not.
