A yet untapped premium play

An area that has not been explored that I think has some value for the right letter combinations is L-L.tv

At $300 VS $1,000/$10,000/$30,000 I think there is a value proposition there.

End users do not care about the - especially if they are a firm or a partnership
In Europe especially - are used.

Now with a good L-L you have the opportunity to offer an end user a great deal $5000 sale $10,000 sale with only a $300 renewal fee

And if you have one you like for development the - does not hurt for SEO. UK or U-K does not matter same number of results Google yahoo msn whoever.

This is not a recommendation or a guarantee just something for people to think about in another area that may give you some premium ideas for a lot less than $1000/$5000/$10,000 per year for renewal fees

Full Disclosure I regged one U-K.tv

If you reg any post in the thread

I couldn't see myself agreeing with or regging any of these Eq, until the I saw your U-K.TV.

Damn it looks powerful.......!!

Well I don't think it is a slam dunk go and reg any and they sell, but I think names like
O-K.tv
L-I.tv
U-S.tv
E-U.tv
B-C.tv
L-A.tv
N-Y.tv
K-C.tv
A-Z.tv
M-E.tv
W-E.tv
I-P.tv

Double letters like S-S or M-M or N-N

I think they can have value as development and resell projects. Bottom line there are plenty of people who will never give in to the BIG TIME PREMIUM RENEWALS OF VERISIGN I knew someone at a software company that did $200 million in Revenue asked me abotu .tv I showed him what the premium he was after would cost and he said Screw that never and we got the money I just think its crazy. I think there will be a % of people out there and I think L-L can have some kind of market.

This attitude of "over my dead body' is an understandable reaction to a new type of pricing policy unheard of until .tv........

But I think even this core group of corporations will change their tune once all their competitors get their .tv ............it will force their hand, so while they may fume, they wil eventually cough up!!

Obviously there will still be a die hard few remaining, but certainly most responsible businesses will not allow principle to get in the way of market economics........

equity78 05-19-2007 01:21 AM

I agree but I will say this if I am a company and I could care less about Domainer Logic or type in traffic I will pay $300 for N-N.tv rather than $10,000 or $20,000 per year for NN.tv

While I am a strong supporter of .tv, quite honestly, considering the price and renewal fees, the economics of l-l.tv is a very expensive proposition. A smart domainer would think twice and consider the opportunity cost of $300 / yr. It could easily garner a few excellent LLLL .coms (if you do it right) with a renewal fee of $8, which is a lower risk, higher upside strategy.

I think I prefaced everything with I am not talking about domainers I have never done anything in .tv with even a remote foucs on domainers, development and end users and the type of trash available for reg fee in LLLL.com could come nowhere close to
U-K .tv IMO

equity78 05-23-2007 04:26 PM

anyone reg any of these domains ?
