Jeff, you raise questions digging for more .mobi doubt but I'm very interested to hear what conclusions you will draw from the possible outcomes I've listed below:

at such time as the mobile internet is well developed enough to offer fast phones, cheap plans and unlimited usage i believe that scores.mobi could be worth _more_ than it's dot com cousin

my reason ? - i am no longer a sports fan at all, but when i was, i was a rabid fan, i wanted to know game scores like _now_, no way i would be waiting to get home and firing up the old desktop

prediction: scores.mobi will ultimately buy scores.com

I certainly don't see it the other way around, mind you... Granted it wasn't a reserved premium, there's no reason to wait for an auction to buy the name if he was genuinely interested.

Well said! _Scores now_ --> PERFECT for the mobile internet!!! I know a lot of sports fanatics and they spent lots of $$ to get instant results.

For that reason I didn't accept a $ 25,000 bid for my LiveScores.mobi...

The UK OVT for scores explains why... Live Scores is more searched than the word scores! (http://inventory.uk.keywo.com)

Fair enough webecri but I think the 'live' part is understood if we're talking about accessing sports scores on a mobile device.

I've got a Blackberry and the only things I've looked up on the Mobile Web in the last 2 years are stock prices, sports scores, and local taxi-cab numbers when I'm on the road for business. Come to think of it, Taxi.mobi or Cab.mobi seems like no-brainers too.
