I having been reading the forum for several months. This is my first post. Does anyone know when the advertising campaign is due to start and the type of adversting they will be doing? Also, any thoughts (and appraisal) on two names I registered: Tikes.TV (a kids channel) and BakingChannel.TV. Thanks.

Advertising campaign for what company?

Tikes.tv is decent, worth maybe $200?. Don't see why anyone would build a site about baking so less than reg fee.

There was big roll out of the Premium Names and me.tv tools on May 1.

Ok, now I have to say that you are way off on that. No one would make a channel about baking? Rachael Ray, That Gia lady, some british cook who yells at his students, Julia Child? Any of those ring a bell?

I followed the May 1 rollout- But I thought there was going to be more?

I needed to read your comments twice...I can think of 1000 reasons to build a site about baking straight off the bat...they are 1000 companies that could endorse their baking products through the use of how to bake a wedding cake video, birthday cake videos and so on and so forth...chef sites, cooking school sites

Now, bakingchannel.tv is no cookingchannel.tv, but I would certainly rate it at reg fee to high xx.........possibly alot more if the right end user comes knocking

I hope baking has a video future as I reged baking.tv and think it will make a great show online. Tikes.tv is good as a kids show, I think it's woth holding onto. BakingChannel.tv is also a good reg. Congrads!

Yup. Baking is huge. Are you aware of how many stay home parents there are doing research online to put the best bake goods in the mouths of domainers?

How many of you guys love chocolate chip cookies?

I bet you could have self made baking cook offs on video if people were willing to give up their secret recipes. . . . .
