We don't see the queries, just the number of searches. I'm assuming that 'search' means someone typed something into the search box - is that not the case?

A search is any time somebody clicks on anything. So on the landing page, it's a search box or if somebody clicks on any of the links. That is a search.
As far as a 404, it could be a broken image, or basically anything. But we still show something.
I think the searches imply the related search terms clicked on. So a visitor could have clicked on maybe 5-6 related search terms before finally clicking/not clicking through on an advertisement.
I'm still not sure about the 404...
Edited: Okay... got the answer while I was writing this...
If you type in one of your domains like this: www.yourdomain.com/netmeg.html - well you obviously don't have a page called netmeg.html on your parked domain. Parked will still show your parked page with all the proper links on it (and you'll get credit for the clicks if someone clicks on something) - but it'll just return a 404 (which you can see in the address bar) because that's not actually a valid page. And presumably, it'll return a 404 *header*, so that any toolbar you happen to have installed, like Google or Yahoo, won't think that it's a valid url and index it.

I'm guessing anyone with dropped domains (like myself) could be showing big 404 numbers (ie my dropped domains had numerous links with things like domain.com/visit or domain.com/mystore etc.).
My account is showing about 100 visits per day but 2000 404s. I'd like to be converting that better but thats another issue. First I want to make sure I'm clear on the numbers.
thebutler - You are correct, expired/dropped domains have more 404 traffic than anything. We do convert 404 traffic very well, if it's a real person. The problem you run into is that some of it is broken images, which nobody will actually see a page on that, sometimes it's javascript, and sometimes it's just some bot following links. So if you remove all of the bad stuff you left with about 28% that is good. That number is based on yesterday's stats.
LOL...WOW...new graphs..new stats....and my first inquiry to buy one of my names in about 8 months..oh and I'm starting to make some money again
All I have to say is Supacalafreakinawesome!

We have 404's and searches back to mid/early 2007. We do plan on adding both to the domain level. Unforatuntely it will require a little more work than I expected. But the changes will actually speed up the report generation process.
