I have days where I get nothin' but other days that are really great. Overall, I'm up. The last Yahoo update was advantageous for some of my more lucrative domains.

Lol, I know what you mean about adding domains but it’s the CTR & RPC over time that makes all the difference…
In Jan I got 9k visitors with around 200 domains – CTR = 59%
In June I got 11.5k visitors with around 500 domains – CTR = 50%
Long story short I’d increased my portfolio 150% and thought I’d increase my earnings significantly but because of the drop in CTR and a slight drop in RPC I only made a small amount more in June than I did in Jan.
There are also seasonal variations that affect traffic and the value of certain keywords to take into account. I joined Parked in Dec 07 and so won’t have a clear (or clearer) picture until I’ve got a full 12 months under my belt. Still very happy with the results so far though.
EDIT:
In Jan I was also getting about 20% SE traffic and now it's about 4%. Things change constantly so I suppose it's difficult to analyse fully. So long as you're earning more than you're spending etc...
You know what might be kind of a neat feature, would be the ability exclude our own IP numbers, so that, for example, while I'm working on my customizations, and checking to see how things look by doing a lot of refreshing, it doesn't get counted as a real visit.
Just a thought. When I'm working on my developed sites, I made some placement holder gifs in various sizes for the AdSense blocks while designing, and then don't put the code in until the very last minute, so it doesn't skew the stats (or render an accidental self-click). It would be nice to be able to do it with Parked as well.

Thanks! I thought of something else too - it would be nice to be able to download some of the traffic analysis information - specifically, the breakdown by keyword. Like maybe into a csv file? Since it's only five days worth at any given time, I like to aggregate them into a month or so to take a look at trends and whatnot.
(sorry, I'm sure you have enough to do as it is - it was just a thought)

I've always wondered why the visitor stats is only for the past 5 days. Couldn't it keep the stats for at least the past 30 days or longer?

Powerup - The traffic analysis is only for the past 5 days, because of the size of data that is needed to show that information. We have additional days, but it takes so long to compile it on the fly that 5 days is really the best.
domainer111 - Use the flash button in the custom content.
netmeg - I'll see what I can do. Something similiar is already on our list.
Still never saw any changes in any of our monitoring tools. We actually have some monitoring setup on comcast that I didn't even know about and I don't really see any changes last night. If it's still having problems today, please send me a traceroute and I'll take a look at it.
The second half of July in generally the slowest time of the year for parking - especially late July. It seems traffic normalizes by mid-August and begins to pick up again in late August and starts the upward climb towards the X-Mas season.
I see this traffic pattern every year. This year however has been an anomaly of sorts, some domains have tanked since the beginning of the year; it must be the economy.
I will say that for some reason I can't put my finger on I seem to do better overall at Parked in the summer than I do at other parking co's.
Nope, all looks okay today. We were having some strange outages and network behavior in our part of the country yesterday, so maybe it was part of that.
Umm, thought of something else.
I like how I can go into the Portfolios section, and type a word at the bottom and all the domains with that word in it pop up - like if I put in 'detroit' and all my domains that have detroit in them show up, regardless of folder, along with the impressions and clicks. But there's no total at the bottom.
So if I want a total, I can go into Reports. But I don't have the same option of selecting the radio button that says Search for Domain - if I want all the information in THAT section, I have four selections - All Domains, All Domains with Traffic, Portfolio and Domain List. So if I want to get a total for all my domains with Detroit in them, and they're not all in the same Portfolio, I have to type them all into the Domain List.
So.. can we either get totals on the Portfolio page, or else the Search for Domain radio button on the Reports page?
(I'll save the request for sub-folders and domains in multiple folders for another time, ork ork)

guys, I have only 5 domains and I was trying to set up my account on parked.com, but in my understanding I should have at least 10 domains to start with parked.com? here is the question: did anyone try the godaddy's cashparking that they have recently added as a feature? What is the best way to monetize these domains?
Honestly, I would never pay to park my pages, they are making money with every click you get, why pay for a service like that when they benefit not matter what?
Plus it looks ugly and full of pop ups!
