I'm surprised at the sale price of Gardens.us. I would think Garden or Gardening would go for that price.

But hay, the higher the better ;)

super!! i was selling off some decent generics, no one took any interest in them at whole sale pricing, I decided not to sell them, and i feel sure i wont regret it in the future :)

I have not published any of my purchases or sales of .us domains and I know quite a few other individuals that do not either. From my experience, I do not believe the sales listed by OP are flukes. Instead, I believe these sales communicate a trend towards a wider acceptance of .us domains within the domaining industry. Just wait for the big fish to catch on...

I think you are right Fonz (about wider acceptance). I've seen the normal low ball offers slow way down. Now I'm starting to get offers that I feel are worth spending the time to negotiate.

Speaking of low ball offers, I had a guy who had the cohones to offer me an enormous $60 for BPO.us at Sedo last week. Talk about a big spender...

fonzie, would you take $70?

No, I agree. The .us market is on the move.

The big fish will be coming out to get the goods, sooner than later imo, i don't post my sales here, unless i make them here, most of the people i sell to, like the non disclosure method much better.

The few .us sales I've had usually come along with NDA as well. I had a mid $x,xxx offer a few weeks back on one of my .us, although no sale was completed.

Agree, lots of sales going on behind the scenes, as with all extensions no doubt.
It's nice to know about as many sales prices as possible to form accurate sales comps, but NDAs - whether formal or informal - take priority.

I've noticed that even some of my .US names sales completed at SEDO have not been reported. They seem to only show a dozen or so completed name sales every other day. I think DNJ picks up all >$1k sales. Lots of business in the mid-high $xxx range. That should translate into low-mid $x,xxx in a few more years.
