just tried it out with one of my domain names.

positive points: 1. good for seo
2. customizable
3. 100% revenue

Negative: no real time report & have to wait for one day

that's what i can think of so far. compared to sedo, it needs a long way to go, but it's getting there, and i'm impressed with i've seen so far

Thanks Matt for the updates... will be very helpful. Please tell me how domains are verified as being owned by the account holder at Bodis? I can go in and add any domains (whether I own them or not)... I accidentally added a domain that wasn't mine. I discovered it the next day and removed it; however, it still appears in my domain reports. This question leads me to my next one:

Will there by any issues if I lease a domain and have it parked at Bodis to track the stats and collect the revenue?

I'm having the same problem. I have a little over 100 domains and when I click Page 2 to see the rest, I get a full page of domains and out of alphabetical order.

That might work okay if you have 200 or fewer domains. If you have over 1000, it's awful hard to look through the domains and do any sort of analysis. Even with the bug still in the view 50/100, the 'view all' on the manage domains works. Having a "view all" in the reports would be a major improvement with only a little effort.

Romm - if you don't own the name how can you change the nameservers ? It can't be done.

Great idea Joe, I already did this on some of my domains.
Now, I noticed while clicking on the home page links that some of the links are returning blank 2nd page or Non related links from the subject link on the 1st page. Now I have to click on all the links to see which ones are dead or non-related to delete it or replace it with a good link.

First and foremost, thanks Matt for the hard work you putting up for helping us, specially small time domainers like me and some others here. Its certainly been good since I moved my domains from Sedo to Bodis, now I get revenue each day as opposed to once, twice 3 times a month at Sedo with no check in sight.

Also, could you give us a thought preview of how are you gonna incorporate affiliate programs with our domains? I've had created affiliate websites last year, I get the visitors, CTR's are great...but to no avail, theres no sales? I heard from ABestWeb blog that affiliate associates from the affiliate websites themselves can steal the revenues . Also, its hard to create and maintain such a website

It would be nice if a parking program (Bodis) could let us pick affiliates from advertisers who signs up with Bodis. We could then choose the advertisers pertaining to what our website markets and automatically generate this into our websites. If a parking program can do this, it would definitely revolutionize the parking industry and perhaps would be a first.

Now, It would only be fair for Bodis to get more of the revenue. Affiliates ofter offers from 5%-20% of the sale. And sometimes, gives incentives of cash if a certain quota sales is made. We would be happy for a small percentage of the sale revenue as this would be much higher than just clicks alone since Bodis would be doing the programming part which is not easy to do considering the manpower and the hours involved.

It would definitely be awesome to take off the burden of programming an affiliate site, and if a parking program could do this, a lot of domainers would be happy as I know lots of domainers park their website because of the trouble putting up an affiliate site. My Nickel on the bucket

I have a question, My mobi domain http://www.pcconnection.mobi, I turned to a dating service domain have the highest visitor count of all 50+ domains I put in with Bodis, generated 181+ visitors in 6 days, 1000% higher visitors than my revenue generating domains, but no generated revenue?

Is there a problem with other .mobi sites, considering it is a mobile phone site? Or its just mines? Or maybe its too early to tell, reason I ask is I got 124 visits on 8-21-07 and report for this day is already in and no revenue.

I am up to 12 consecutive days (8/10 - 8/21) with NO clicks and counting. 31 domains, 15 customized and 16 default.

During this 12-day period, the 15 customized domains (in Bodis from the start in July) had 336 visits, and the 16 un-customized had 120 visits (they have been in Bodis only since 8/16).

All my domains are Customized. I just don't see why anyone would even hang around to see a ghost page. (Last time I checked its a whitewash page, Unless Matts team decided to put a default colored background to it, then maybe I will let the default page do the earning.)

Hello,

Here is two very important things that I think would be very helpful if they could be fixed:

1./ When viewing the Domain Report Page and you "Sort By Visitors", this does not work. It would be really good if this could be fixed, it has been mentioned on this thread several times and I'm sure it's not a huge task for the developers to do.

2./ When managing a domain and you have just finished changing the Title & Keyword for the "Automatic Landing Page" then there should be a "Save Changes" button at the top as well as the bottom so you can just click it and not have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page.

Absolutely true... as I commented, it doesn't keep someone from adding any domain to their account. What happens then if this domain is already parked on Bodis but not added to anyone else's account.

You just let the mouse cursor blinking in Title or Keyword field and hit "Enter" on your keyboard. So you don't have to scroll down to see Submit button.

Here's the practical reply. You can put ANY name you want into your Bodis account. Heck, you can put Yahoo.com there[*]. It won't impact the real site because the domain registry DNS settings point to the correct nameserver. That nameserver then replies with the correct address (and it isn't pointed at Bodis).

BUT, the site does get created on Bodis. I would suspect that Matt has some form of duplicate checking on the database so it would cause problems if you registered a name you didn't own, but someone else DID try to put it on Bodis. Sort of a denial of service problem at worst.
[*]Note: You may have legal issues around trademark and fraud, especially if you try to direct traffic to the Bodis true path if you happen to know it, i.e., something along the lines of www.bodis.com/domains/yahoo.com
