Well, I have noticed a disturbing trend. I added 15 domains when Bodis first went live and I customized them all. Visitors, clicks, and earnings started off great! Much better, by far, than their previous parking services.

I then added 16 more names a few days ago, which I left un-customized (default lander). I was checking stats today (8/17) and noticed that, although I have still been getting visitors over the last 8 days (8/10 - 8/17: 243 visitors to 31 domains), I have NOT HAD A SINGLE CLICK!! What is going on?? Anyone else noticing the same trend?

Matt, It would be great if the stats page showed totals for each column (Visitors, Clicks, avg CTR, as well as earnings). Also, it would be nice to have an option to show aggregate and selected domains stats by day, so one could more easily spot such trends as mentioned above.

did you change dns to bodis, I wonder if there system can detect whois and automically put it in the appropiate account

Wouldn't that be an outstanding feature for bodis if it could be scripted.
An automated domain add feature whenever you register a domain. Since you can automatically set your nameservers at your register, the parking page would appear automatically at bodis when you register a domain.

I don't know about you but I think this would be fantastic. If I register 20 domains today I don't have to add them to my bodis account. I could later go in and customize them when convenient.

I hate manually adding domains to my Bodis account every time I go register one.

I believe there is a link "Domain Report" shows clicks, visitor, ctr & revenue.

(can also be accessed from "Full Report" by clicking on Month & Year),

From either this two window, you can click on under heading title "Domain Name" the domain name and voila!
Reports for each day with visitor, clicks, ctr & revenue.

To clarify, what I meant was "Grand Totals" at the bottom of each column for Visitors and Clicks. Right now all we get is the "Grand Total Earnings" on each report.

Also, I would like to see a new report BY DAY showing aggregate (for all domains) Visits, Clicks and Earnings for each day with Grand Totals at the bottom.

I used very general keyword . Just like "News" and only one ad appear. Why is that ? I have one domain that used to be news site .I am getting a lot of traffic but very low CTR .I guess it is because no Ads showing up .

Hmm, zero visits yesterday.

I was hopeful things would pick up since the sites are showing up on the different search engines with my customized content. Perhaps I need to tweak some more for better placement.

OK. I took the leap from Sedo and parked many of my names at Bodis. In the first 5 days, I have been pleasantly surprised by the results:

Revenue/Day Average: $6.90 (vs $1.05 on Sedo)
Click Through Rate: 8% (vs 3.9% on Sedo)
Best PPC: $1.05 (vs $0.45 on Sedo)
Worst PPC: $0.24 (vs $0.02 on Sedo)

This is with little optimization, slow to convert dns settings, a data enry lag of a few days for non-performing names, and no adult names. So, if I do my math right, my RDA should only increase within the next few days to about $8.00, but my CTR should drop off as I add crappier names.

To say I'm pleased would be an understatement. I'm looking at 6 - 8 times the revenue I had at Sedo. All I can say is thank you Matt! Great job.

Next step - optimize the parking pages.

How do we know how many unique visitors , visit our names. Is it not possible right now to know or is it only counting uniques and is there going to be a way to see where this traffic came from in the future ( Searches, type in's etc.)

I am happy for your good fortune. I had a similar great experience in the beginning with Bodis, but the latest bad trend continues - now 9 consecutive days without a single click on 31 domains (see my post #1276: http://www.namepros.com/2141224-post1276.html). They are getting visits (274 in those 9 days). All but 2 are listed in Google and all except 5 are listed in Yahoo.

Have I done something wrong? Is there something I should be doing that I am not?

I don't want to list the domains here for fear of skewing the analysis by getting "sympathy" clicks.

and you want that to show on the breakdown reports as well.

That improvement would be much welcome, but for now I could live with the
Domain Report pages' Filter by Selection or Filter by Range.

I am sure Matt could implement these improvements as soon as hes done sorting out the more complex technical parts of this Parking Venue.

I wonder if some of the stats might lag as well? I think Matt did say something about getting credit assigned, perhaps there might be some lag to merge the stats? It didn't seem like the site was down long enough to justify a 60% reduction in visits.

I dumped the data from the daily reports to excel and did the math. Cut and paste is a wonderful thing.

Is it only for each domain that is listed at the end of the trial period? Or any domain that I add for however long I have an account open?

I guess my question was "where are you seeing detailed click pricing?" It sounds more like you are just calculating an average price per click (or is that cents per click )

I asked Matt the same question via PM and the answer is yes, you will be getting 100% revenue share of all your domains, even if you add them to your portfolio in 2008. Just sign up for a Bodis account in 2007.
