![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hopefully things will pick up, but CTR is down to 1%, with earnings per click also way way down. Perhaps when V. 2 comes out and new providers come on board things will change. I have begun to move names over in the interim as I'm losing money. Lately I've been getting emails per query for one of my names which is non stop with pornagraphic materials attached. I'm still hopeful however and wish Matt luck in the upcoming change. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Lets supoort Bodis Everyone of us hopes Bodis hangs in there. If Fab is a ocean, Bodis is a bathtub. So why compare or expect Bodis to be a instant success?. Think about the hundreds of thousands of dollars Fab or Traffi- or Sed-o has put into their parking service. I would be a idiot to expect Bodis to out perform some of these parking companies that have hundreds of employees and spend hundreds of thousands a year to launch their programs. No, we are not expecting that yet! We have that much confidence that Matt is going to bring the goods. If you want a sure thing go somewhere else. Most of us have names spread all over the place. So I am wondering why Bodis gets crap when all they are doing is running a very, and I repeat very small parking company. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/parking-and-traffic-monetization/318378-new-revolution-domain-parking-here-bodis.html Right now Bodis is in the building mode. It is not a industry leader in parking, yet. If you don't want to go along for the ride, depart. There are better parking companies and you may make more money parking elsewhere. Bodis is a new parking company, lets let it evolve and see what it can do. We may be surprised down the road. To anyone who thinks Bodis is supposed to be more than it is needs to understand any company that runs itself with pretty much the owner doing all the work must not be able to grasp this is going to take a while to build. What some of us want to do is support it and see if against all odds it can grow.

I agree with these sentiments one hundred per cent! Hang in there and it will pay off. I was surprised by SirenGirl saying she was losing money and sending names elsewhere. Where would you do any better the way things are with parking? I've still got a few names at Trafficz and Parked.com so that I'm still in the loop with what others are paying, and if you think Bodis is doing bad then you should see what's happening with those guys. And I can't believe Fabulous is going to be any better, because it all comes back to advertisers and sentiment in the advertising industry. Parking as we know it is dead and we now need more creative solutions. ..

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sincerely, I sympathize with Matt, but earnings are very low. I agree the whole parking industry is struggling, but then it is time to monetize domains differently for me. Statistically, here are my Sept, Oct and March stats. September 2007 5460 71 1% $32.19 October 2007 4587 66 1% $15.22 March 2008 9006 98 1% $10.36 I won't move my names to other parking services, but better will unpark them or put a basic one page site. I will let the names at Bodis for April though, to see how it is going. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have been a supporter of Matts for the longest in fact I still am, so bashing me is a bit unfair however indirect. I've hung in there and know there has been a recent change over in providers. I assume the decrease in earnings has to do with all the links being the same (Toseeka.com and the like) but 1% is too low to be able to sustain. Even some months ago I remember a post made by Matt about how aggravated he was with his earnings on Sedro Pro and he was going to pull his names out. He also mentioned he would start his own company in response to his frustration. I admire Matt he's done a fantastic job during so very rough spots. I have had to pull a few of my names that always had a high CTR rate that are my bread and butter names, and to test them elsewhere, not all but a few. I have to, I cannot afford to renew the names I have unless I do this. And, yes I have done better at Sedo in the interim. I'm sure I'm not the only one here that moves names around? ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=318378 I'm surprised that people are surprised that I decide to move a few names. Its likely I'm not the only one, I just verbalized it. I still have 35 names on Bodis. I certainly would hope I could be free enough to express myself but perhaps I was wrong. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | sure thing sirengirl. I have reduced the name at Bodis too having around 40 now. (other parking companies are not outperforming though...). Waiting for Bodis 2. The problem is not Bodis though, but the parking industry...

We all want Bodis to succeed. Even more, we want it to succeed beyond the scope of other parking companies. What some supporters don't seem to realize is that posting legitimate concerns or criticism is not a lack of support...it's not bashing....it's simply voicing concerns that Matt, like any business owner, needs to consider, as both are important for a company’s success. Legitimate criticism helps a company become better by pointing out the areas customers aren't happy with. That's not to say people shouldn't also make their satisfaction known, but every successful business owner I know pays equal attention to praise and criticism, and while praise is acknowledged, criticism is acknowledged and acted upon. If no one points out weaknesses, it's very difficult to improve. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=318378 Often, because of the culture of a forum like this, it’s easy to intertwine personal feelings with objective review. There’s nothing wrong with that, but at the end of it all, Bodis is a business; it's that simple. When it all comes down to it, Matt has a marketing strategy he feels will deliver a product/service that will satisfy his customers and also make him some money...and good for him; nobody expects anything less. What seems to be at issue is whether customers should ever post anything remotely critical or post nothing but praise. It shouldn’t be an either/or situation; both are appropriate and necessary for any business that wants to improve.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Siren girl of course you can move around we all do. I am not talking about you. I think many are complaining. Just everyone wants to blame Matt or Bodis and like you say and others say, its down all across the board. Its too bad too as we have all worked very hard, hoping parking would bring us the freedom we want for our incomes. It still may, we just have to be patient I guess.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If you can add domain names then you can sure use it. Otherwise, if you cannot add domain name then PM me and I will see if I can reinstate it. And to everyone else: The new Bodis is still a work in progress. I am adding a few additional things and making sure everything is working perfectly before releasing. I don't want to push out anything early and half buggy. |

![]() | Each day, I check to see how many forum pages there are since the last time I checked. I can't wait for the exciting day when I open this page and see the forum jump 5-10 pages in a single day. Then, I will know v2 has been released, as I expect a ton of activity here upon its release. Until then, thanks for the updates Matt! |

I can post a link but I'm sure in 10 minutes it will work. My ISP is a bit unreliable (3 - Mobile wireless) & I'm not in the USA but Australia but I checked other sites and they work, one of my bodis pages that wasn't working as I write: http://www.travelfinland.info/ edit: now it works after I post but this happens often latley at least, it could be something from been this far away from the USA? does anyone else have this happen?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sorry SirenGirl
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=318378 No bashing intended and yes, you have been one of Matt's staunchest supporters. I didn't mean to single you out, although I admit it probably came across that way. My humble apologies. I didn't express myself clearly. I guess the point I was making - and I mean this in regards to anyone, not specifically you - is where do we move our names to? Things are so bad with parking that is there any point in moving names around? :-) ..
