Hey Bampa, I think this should be directed at trlsker01. I doubt the IRS has anything to do with Madeira Island, unless they are in dire need of a good vacation!

Autism Autism Protect Our Planet
I never really understood the full extent that a pleasant landing page can have on CTR. I recently took a domain to another service. On Bodis it was running at about 10%. On the other service which also uses a Ask feed, it was running at 77%.

Hopefully with some more pleasant landers and more relevant links in V2, earnings will BOOM. I hope Matt, that new landers will be part of version 2.

OK this means that your picture is 46,85 Kbytes in size. Its too big for Bodis. You will have to reduce it to exactly 29,2 Kbytes or less otherwise Bodis will not accept it.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=318378

Reduce the size now. On the right side you will find QUALITY and a number next to it. Click on the arrow to the right of the number and a slider comes up below it. Slide it to the left or right and look at your size being reduced on the bottom left. Like I said reduce it to 29,2K or slightly less and then hit SAVE and give it a name.

The key here is the SAVE FOR WEB (on PhotoShop)

If you go to the thread custom whypark sites you will see dozens of Bodis examples.

Thank you so much for the tip. It works. Wanted to add rep but Namepros doesn't let me.

Matt was saying that based on how a visitor to your domain behaves the filters will determine how many clicks from that user to actually accept (allow). Behavior generally refers to fraudulent activity (bots) or the absence of it (genuine visitors). For instance, if a visitor is clicking through the links on your site at a rate unlikely possible by humans (since we take a few seconds to read, decide, and then click), this visitor's clicks will probably not be allowed.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=318378

The IP address of a visitor (used for uniquely identifying the visitor on the Internet) could be used in several ways by the filters; two being:
1) Having a list of known spamming/bot IP addresses, which the filters would probably automatically not allow any clicks from.
2) To keep a record of those IPs from the previous explanation that displayed bot-like behavior.

I do not know the internal infrastructure of Bodis, but based off his comment, this is the kind of thing he is referring to. Hope this helps!

Well we have took our foot off the last pieces of fraud blocks yesterday, so the revenue should have peaked now. It should be up a good 20-30%.

But we still have a long way to go and a lot to improve on.

Whatever you did, it had a very good effect on my total number of clicks...and thus, earnings. My revenue increased about 1/3...back to the amounts in September. Good job!

Similar story here. Had another good day. Now the next step, if nothing gets tripped along the way is to get Earnings per Click back to the August-September levels which in my case is presently about 1/3 of what it was then. This is the "long way to go" that Matt talks about.

Clicks up, thankfully... but you're right EPC is not the same. I don't exactly blame Bodis for this... I do need to sit down and figure out what's going on. Need to optimize domains and hope that earnings go up! More earnings = less time in debt . Excited about tomorrow! Been quiet about Bodis, but I really like the simplicity of the layouts.

Thanks Matt x 100!

Based on what Matt wrote, during the time of high fraud, Bodis lost its original status with the provider and got put in the category of higher risk, which means lower paying advertisers. I'm not sure, but maybe we're still in that category, and that's what he will be trying to change.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=318378

Here's his quote from a couple of days ago:

"When we had a high level of fraud, we were placed in a different "traffic bucket" by our upstream ad providers. Traffic buckets are assigned based on quality of traffic, and have a different pool of advertisers. These advertisers pay a lot less, but are exposed to worser quality traffic."

The next objective is to get out of that low quality "traffic bucket" and get into a high quality "traffic jacuzzi". How long it will take nobody knows!

No wonder we are getting such a high percentage of 3,4 and 5 cent clicks!

By removing the fraud blocks, will Bodis still be protected from fraud? I'd rather there be some fraud blocks in place and having the advertiser moves Bodis to the higher paying category rather than having no fraud blocks and risk the advertiser putting Bodis in the low paying category.
