Okay, revenue should start going up in tomorrow's stats.

We are also going to be changing a bit in the old Bodis.com system. You will no longer be able to modify your own links on the custom template. This is actually a good thing, since our new in-development optimizer will be able to better optimize links and this will have us prepared for Bodis v2 which will be completely different and a lot more automated yet customized at the same time.

Yes,

what I have been saying all along is most well funded parking companies ( the successful ones) are making money hand over fist.

We see the numbers posted in domain journals and conventions of how big their parking companies have grown. So we know they are making huge profits, yet this subject of non transparency keeps us in the dark regarding what monies the domainer really earns. I am not talking about Bodis here, but the "big parking companies"

I hope Bodie is building a strong foundation for growth for 2008.

When have you sent it? If it was before December 8th, then you should resend as we have a new employee handling support tickets from December 8th. That goes to everyone. She has been great and responding to every support ticket within 24 hours, usually within just a few hours.

India traffic is not being blocked, although, it is possible that with our strict click fraud rules that a lot of traffic is not allowed to click-thru. You should take a look at tomorrow's stats and see if it will improve for you.

Hi Matt,
I have few italian names with Bodis. It is great because I have the chance to optimize links for the italian market (it took time sites shows many relevant links this way). If the system is going to be automatized, I dont think it will pick up the right keywords (or would it?) For example I have (translated in english) gamesforpc.com or antiquefurniture.com etc. that have good OVT in italian.
Will the new system handle it?

Yes, they are up. Sorry for the delay everyone, we were going to update them at the usual time but our servers had small technical problems.

Marco, we are still thinking of how exactly the links will work. I will probably get back to you on that tomorrow. We'd love to have our members still pick out links individually so we are still drawing up alternatives. Although, allowing our members to pick out the links individually will hurt the majority of our revenue in the long-run, rather than letting the new optimizer do its job - which ofcoarse is still not live yet.

In your case, it probably helps the revenue, so we are still drawing out our possibilities here.

Do you expect to start re-adding accounts shortly (a week), or is this going to be something like Jan/Feb/Mar timeline? I'm hoping my join date qualifies me as a "longtime" member elligible for reinstatement and retention of my 100% rev status

Stats just out, and it did... average rpc jumped from 0.10 to 0.17, and total revenue almost doubled. Nice!

The CPC should have not increased much, but the CTR should be better.

We have worked on improving CTR. CPC optimization probably in a week. I think we are so far doing a good job on CTR improvements, here is one of our domains:

Just curious and trying to put things in perspective. What would be helpful if we can get a kind of indication of the revenue goals we are trying to achieve with the changes with CPC and CTR. In September, we were getting very good revenue...after wards, the months after we dropped significantly.

Is our goal to get back to the point where everyone will be getting revenue equivalent to Septembers or even better?

Let's say September revenue is on a scale of 1-10 is consider to be a 8.
I think we may be at a 3 right now. Is our goal to get to 8 or is it to get to 10, or less?

Hope this makes sense.

Yes, our goal is to be anywhere from 7 to 8 based on your scale and my calculations.

We will be testing the CPC optimization over this weekend. And once our new optimization methods are in place a week from now, we are hoping to be clearly at 5 or 6.

I think in the long run we can be at 9/10. But that takes time.
