I uploaded one thus far ezbabysites.com I will see how it goes, but I already like the fact you can customize text, and types of links as well as pictures to be displayed. I may play around with background color, but I am pleased with the results so far. Especially if its a site you want to develope you can state as such to hopefully bring folks back for updates.

Update: I have had the domain name above that gets 300+ visits a month but never a click. Already the first day I got one for .30! It proves that this particular model that allows for customization, is a much better option than the standard parking page. Bravo!

Most TLDs should be functioning right now. There are a few less-known ones that haven't been added. If there are TLDs that are not functioning, please email to support@bodis.com so we can have it added.

Yes, adult domain names are not allowed at this point due to restrictions from our partners. They will be allowed in the near future. It is a work in progress. Once they are allowed all the denied adult applications will be re-searched and accepted.

Well adult names are temporarily not allowed. They will be soon. And trademarks, well ... no parking company is supposed to allow them. The thing is, typos are fine as long as they don't infridge on a major trademark.

Would you please clarify the use of "Keyword" for the domains. You titled the field in the singular. Does that mean there can only be one keyword per domain? Can it be a phrase (multiple words)? Some valid examples would help.

I will have to make it clearer on the website then. You can use multiple words. For instance, any of the following qualify as a keyword:

"Games"
"Video Games"
"Web Design Company"

You shouldn't make keywords on the Automatic template too specific, since then the links that are generated are even more specific. Play around with it until you find the desired results.

How about providing us a status report? How many active members so far? How many domains? Some kind of indication of overall traffic, CTR, and revenue generated?

Domain stats are updated once per day for the revenue earned the day before.

Actually, the 2-click outperforms the 1-click landers by far for most types of domains. The only place where I'd see 1-click landers doing a lot better is very bad typos where the visitors would accidentally click an ad on a 1-click lander - and obviously that is not good for anybody. Advertisers get angry, our ad providers get angry, and then the parking company is left with smaller revenue payouts.

With 2-click landers the revenue is also better.

I guess I can give a small report since it is really OUR domain parking program.

About 600 members. Over 4000 domains. So far, 3 days. CTR is above average. I remember reading somewhere where parking companies had average 10% CTR or so....well it is a lot higher than that. But I can't get into these figures, it is confidential information with Bodis and the parking ad providers.

I have been unable to select custom colors.

1. The color popup doesn't work. (FF,XP,Popup Blocker)

2. When you enter colors via hex code into the box, it defaults to standard on save.

3. Have sent you some tld's via pm, they are not working.

On the whole I must say, I'm quite impressed with Bodis.

The description on the first page is excellent, can use custom content!!

I think you change 'custom' to 'auto', that will give you the plain template.

Matt, a suggestion. Is it possible in the section where you can upload your own picture if you can set it up whereby we can upload a video let's say from youtube. This would be great for media related sites. In a way it would be like this as an example, www.skg.tv that enom/demand media is doing. This kind of parking would be state of the art and a new hybrid in the parking model, imo.

Custom image problems seem to be sorted, it sometime take 2 attemps before it accepts the custom images but it does work, however I am still not able to edit custom colours for the template, do I have to input the colour codes or should I be seeing a colour pallet to select, because I don't get ant pallet?

Also, the inquiry note when someone wants to buy a domain, it would be great to offer a brokering service that can route the funds & domain to the parties performing the exchange. However, if someone makes an offer on a domain, make sure you get a deposit of % of the offer amount. If the offer is accepted the deposit turns into a non refundable deposit, forcing the buyer to follow up to his legally binding agreement or lose the funds to Bodis (50%) and the seller (50%) for administrative reimbursement. If the buyer follows up and actually finalized the deal, the buyer should only have to pay the remainder between the deposit and the accepted total price. If the offer gets denied, the deposit is refundable or re-usable for another offer.

guys I know is against parking company, but is anyway we can just give a hint which names or keywords pay you the most at bodis.I dont mean to give out everything but just an idea like for name you can say insurance, loan, medical etc. and for keyword you can say single word i.e "bank" pays better than mutiple words i.e "online bank"

Use that url to get the payouts of all key words anywhere. It's all relatively the same at all parking sites IMO, but it's been more lucrative for me to put key words that people are looking for on my domain names (more ckick thrus)! Not what pays the most!!!

I don't like adult domains. I have almost no adult domains. I'm not planning to park any adult domains and I was rejected because of adult domains. I'm very dissapointed the way this adult domain issue was handled.

Because I don'tt plan parking any adult domains I don't understand why I have to wait until adult domains are accepted.

I always change nameservers before I park the name as it may take a while for the name to propagate. The site is pretty user friendly. Have you been able to upload pictures? I can't seem to get that feature to work for me.

Maybe the click was from your IP block.
