![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Bodis is very good I don't care how many problems Bodis is having, just that the problems are being fixed. I went from just about zero revenue with Parked, Sedo and 1plus, to finally reaching my break even point for revenue with Bodis and clearly I am on my way to making a profit. Bodis is a very good thing. Although I own a few .in's etc... I would like to know if India traffic is on the outs. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just Drove 950kms in the last 2 days.I'm on holiday at the moment and i thought to myself,i need to check out my bodis stats and see what is going on at namepros. So i found myself an internet cafe and just logged in. I really wish people would stop with all the Matt/Bodis bashing. It is growing very old.Especially when,on a continuous basis,Matt has stated that he is still working the bugs out of the system. It will get there folks. As for me,i would'nt move from bodis even if someone had a gun to my head. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=318378 I have ups and downs but i just put that down to a new system in it's infancy.I plan to stay because it just works for me.I do feel sorry for those who were booted in what seems to be a unfair manner and it is good to see Matt individually checking people's portfolio's for resubmission and letting the honest people back in who were unaware of a problem with the odd domain. I don't know about some of you but I'm in for the long haul. |

I came to Bodis in August fully realizing there were going to be system related ups and downs, along with continuous testing and change, but I was willing to live with that for 100% revenue share and EPC's in the 30 cent range. Now I am looking at banned traffic, banned domains, banned accounts, and an overall cloud of uncertainty, for clicks generating 15 cents. Where is the difference between 30 cents a click and 15 cents a click going? If it is not going to me, and it is not going to Matt, it must be going to Ask. It is getting really difficult to continue lining Ask's pockets and getting nothing in return. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=318378 avp | ||||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My revenue in October went from $30/daily to $15/daily. I'll move my domains away from bodis for now... I'm still waiting to hear back from a support request that I sent in 2 weeks ago!

![]() | Is this caused by lower ad budgets by advertisers? I also read that overall the parking/adsense revenue are down for October. I wonder if this has to do with the economy and the ad market in general. I know that there is this sub-prime credit market problems, and I've heard that many manufacturers in Asia are not seeing the bump in Holiday related orders. But I'm not sure about this. I'm just wondering, if this is a sign of recession coming? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The biggest problem Bodis has right now is illogicality. We understand that Bodis doesn't have enough time to review issues with user accounts on a one to one basis. They usually do bulk actions on certain situations. For instance, when I first applied to bodis I was asked to mention a few of my domains. I did. At the time I didn't know anything about adult domains. There was one semi adult domain among those that I mentioned. I normally don't do adult domains. I have registered around 250 domains during the last year and I think none of them can be considered adult. Anyway, I received a reply to my application and Bodis was telling me adult domains might be accepted in the future. Until then my application was rejected. What the heck? So this means if you have any adult domain in your portfolio you can not join Bodis. Is there any logic in this? The thing is, I didn't have any adult domains at all. The one semi adult domain I had at the time of application was already sold when I heard that I was rejected. I was already ready to exclude any domain that could be considered adult. Why did I have to wait until adult domains are accepted if I don't have any adult domain? So I was waiting there until adult domains are accepted even thought I don't have a single adult domain and even though I was always ready to exclude any problem domain form my bodis account. I wrote back but I received again the same automated message telling me adult domains might be accepted in the future. I have seen the same illogicality with bulk actions regarding accounts that have bad traffic domains. If bodis wants to succeed they need to get their acts together and spend more time on critical thinking before doing any bulk actions. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=318378 I think Matt is a nice guy. I have sene him selling some of his best domains to rise funds for Bodis. On the other hand I wish bulk actions would be planned more logically. There is no logic in rejecting an application because a domainer has an adult domain in his portfolio. This is nonsense. Many domainers who have adult domains can still join Bodis. All they have to do is exclude those names. Illogicality is killing Bodis. Still my fist application is waiting until adult domains are accepted. I was one of the first people who signed in. I was always ready to exclude any problem domains. I'm not only upset because I was rejected for a wrong reason but because the illogicallity behind this rejection. In the meanwhile I signed for a second Bodis account and I'm using this one now.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Marcello I had the same problem. Resend another e-mail/PM to Matt and he will take care of the situation. Edit: Didn't see the thing about the 2nd Bodis account!

![]() | I think that Matt is just swamped with A) Trying to keep up with support requests B) Trying to appease the ad provider C) Auditing accounts as part of B D) Handling the accounting issues (tax forms, wire requests, etc) E) Trying to add new users when possible F) Trying to add improvements G) Eat and bathe regularly ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=318378 I'd suggest perhaps freezing new accounts (E) until he catches up, try to focus on (A) as much as possible, and holding off on (F) until (A) slows down due to bug fixes. I'd also encourage emphasizing (G) a bit to ensure those who are helping him stick around Keep up the good work Matt, just watch the priorities and keep some contact with the people in your life. The work will still be there tomorrow. But, get this rev stable before going with Rev 2, and if need be shut down acceptances of new accounts to avoid increasing the load. There are only so many hours in the day. |
