AskHow.com

So, I'm more looking for guidance and possible appraisal. I think I'd like to create a ppc search engine, but don't really know how to get that done.
Right now, it is being parked at TrafficZ with some natural traffic and a very high CTR.

Thanks in advance for any suggestion for development and appraisal.

Both the words 'ask' and 'how are premium words. I like this domain but it would probably have to take on Ask.com or could be a universal manual answer bank. You would have to go at the big boys and without budget it would be hard to do this. Nevertheless the domain is catchy and I can see the right person/company paying low xxxx. That is just my opinion as it looks like it has potential.

Thanks for your input. I agree that it would cost quite a bit to compete with the big boys. But, because I am getting a decent income from it now, I wouldn't dare to sell it for xxxx. TrafficZ has created an interesting little search where only ads come up. Is there an easy way to do that?

I agree. Dont sell it for $x,xxx. It should go for $xx,xxx.

Also, I think you should consider developing a website for home improvement instead of ppc search engine.

This domain certainly has potential to sell for $x,xxx+ to an end user. The first thing that came to my mind is that howstuffworks.com may like this domain.

how many clicks are you getting on average now?

webdrafter 04-18-2007 10:42 AM

25 29 16 64%

In the first couple of hours this morning I had 16 clicks at a 64% click thru. I have had as much as 85% click thru for the day. I had 25 uniquies and 29 searches since early this morning. I can see what the searches are: how to draw cartoon 1
how to give blow jobs 1
how to invest money 1
how to powerwash a deck 1
how to ride a bike
--- there's an example of what people search.

Fyi, my click thru rate with the page as it is currently is huge compared to the standard parking page.

Thanks again for your input.

This is an beautiful domain. I wouldn't sell it for less than high $x,xxx. If it's generating income all the better. Keep renewing it and hold out for low $xx,xxx! Way to go!!!
