sibaong, how do you choose/optimize the keywords (SEDO)? for example for o-n-y.com ? "ony" , "o n y" or "o-n-y" ? or try to find something related to one of the acronyms of ony?

if you park a fresh domain at sedo leave the keyword blank
they will add a keyword soon as the domain gets traffic.

if its a L-L-L.com fresh reg wait at least one and a half weeks
for it to get traffic and clicks, if no clicks after three weeks
try another keyword.

I registered a L-L-L less than 24 hours ago and it has already got 8 unique views. It seems that, for some reason, it is possible to get high traffic wit these.

at parked.com i get clicks at least every day but at sedo i get one big click every so often.

i like parked.com for multiple clicks but sedo pay better with certain names
but im not sure if sedo works better for L-L-L

the other day i got €1.37 for 2 clicks at sedo for a none L-L-L which the
domain was related to the item they were looking for.

now if p-f-d.com got paid better for related products with multiple clicks
because the searcher was looking for pfds that would be ace plus alot more
profit.

I seem to be getting the most traffic right now for H-O-O.com, about 6 visits per day. Aside from "hoo" as in owls, or as an acronym for "Head of Operations," I can't really imagine why it's getting traffic. Anyone know of another reason I'd be seeing traffic for this one?

The only thing I can see for sure is that regarding search traffic, engines like google simply do not SEE the dashes... so "a-b-c" is the same as "a b c" and "abc".
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=307779

As for type-in traffic, I can't say for sure but other countries use dashes MUCH more casually than in the US, so there is natural traffic there. Add to that the fact that EVERY LLL is taken with many, if not most, of them simply parked pages... surfers are looking for "other" content.

Finally, as regular two and three word domains with any real value or use is becomming harder to buy and develope, I think companies that NEED domains are becoming more creative in their buying... in other words, rather than a two word that is a stretch to understand or brand, they are opting for hyphenated domains for more brand specific usage.

It's what they HAVE to do to get a domain that isn't being squated on.

In doing so, they are bringing hyphenated direct navigation more to the forefront of the business... therefore "training" the marketplace (ie: the surfer) to accept and use hyphens more frequently.

Since LLL owners rely on direct navigation from curious surfers for 100% of their type-in traffic, why is it so hard to believe that with these changes and habits forming in the user base, that direct type-ins with hyphens can't happen?

It obviously IS happening. Many of us are experiencing the natural traffic and revenues.

Continued success to those of us that could see the potential of these L-L-L dot coms.

Just picked up b-r-b and r-i-t

b-r-b is a common forum term for "be right back"... seems like a good one to have, considering the usage.

r-i-t is the name of World's #1 dye products... It's already getting traffic and more kudos to Parked.com for once again automatically finding the best keyword and the graphics WITHOUT my input. They are AWSOME!
