Anchor links work like this in google and Yahoo

Lets say I have a page link on a page going to another page about "Forex home study courses", and my prominate keyword phrase for that page is "Forex Home Study Courses" I would link that page using the following:

<a ref="http://www.forextips.com/forexStudyathome.htm">Forex Home Study Courses</a>

"by identifying your pages through relevant keyword links you are "telling" the search engine which keywords the linked pages represent. The rule applies for both internal and external anchor text."

then to boost it more and include other keywords use a link arrow (small one) with a hyperlink and alt text next to it that looks like this:

<img alt="Forex study at home - Forex home study Courses education and training at Market Traders Institute" src="images/red_arrow.gif" border="0" width="10" height="10">

Just make sure your anchor is relevant - don't write "web design tutorial", and send your visitors to a page that is a sign-up form.
