Making Flash Intro Link To Home Page Hey all, New to the group, and I've got a few quick questions that I'm sure will seem easy to you. First, I have created a flash animation using a program called "SwishMax". What I need to know is how can I make this the intro to my website? What I mean by this is how can I make it so that the flash animation is the first thing shown, and then it links to the framedef? Also, how can I get my menu on the left side to be on the top or bottom? Thanks for the help in advance, Andy |
Don't |
if you can't help him, just say nothing... if you think he's doing it totally wrong, maybe explain it him, how he should do it! he can't do anything with your answer now:hmm: --- can't help you with this nutrendpc good luck! |
i cant help you with swishmax but i can with swish i dont think they are that different you need to select the item you wish to link then look for an actions tab |
SwishMax will create the page for you. When you are done and you have created that link that says "skip intro" with the link to your real homepage, (link is the real home page) simply go to file, export export as HTML+SWF it will save the page with the SWF file. rename the file to whatever your server is set up by default for a home page (index, default) But you know why that "skip intro" link is there? - Because everyone uses it. Don't know what menu you are taking about, is it java? Flash? Dhtml? text links? |
I actually enjoy intro's. Guess that's just me, though. |
My mother links reading spam -but she's in her 70's all types |
Now what sense does that make?! :hmm: |
You and mom should get together. You both got time to waist |
I can't imagine it'd be too different to Flash with respect to properties/actions of links etc. Try the help menu that is more than likely installed with the program. Either that or see if any search engines pick up dedicated forums for it like Macromedia do. |
Shouldn't you just modify the actions and find somewhere that it says link or something? |
