I think we are both more than happy with this sale and I'm glad it went to a good home!

I am now just getting into domain hacks.. I have a quick question regarding the use of plural hacks.. Such as gam.es as an example..

will the value be more or less? Also, how is the search engines.. can they pick up domain hacks or will I need to use strong keywords and linking tactics.. To get ahead of the pack?

I don't know about other hack's but adelai.de was averaging 230 hit's/mth parked. Had it been a site, with a little seo I'm sure it would have been a lot more.

Was there any work done on it? Ever a site or SEO? or was a pure register and park move?

Great Thread!

I just stumbled across this thread... it's awesome!

I love domain hacks because of the personal value that accompanies them. I don't buy them with $$$ in mind.

My absolute favorite:

n.ick.name

What do y'all think?

Would have been worth much much more if it's nick.name.

true...

You are correct, nick.name is pretty spectacular.

However, ick.name is pretty open ended - it's an LLL as well as having multiple possibilities for prefixes (r.ick.name, cl.ick.name, l.ick.name, etc.).

Thanks for your comment though! Anyone else have an opinion about it?

Interesting read.

I registered MoveRight.in a short while ago.
I thought it might be good for property rental.

NE.WS would be a beauty..

Diabetes Special Olympics
Sure find this thread interesting!! One question.. to register some "hacks", don't I have to be a resident or have a partner in that country?
I thought of some hacks using .us (for example..walr.us) but I don't reside in the US

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/cctld-discussion/299608-value-of-domain-hacks.html

Not bad if you only pay for reg. fee for it.

Assuming it was $20 that's 650% ROI
