You should know as you agreed to their TOS.

I really wish more people would read the TOS of sites. More and more people are breaking rules because they don't read the TOS.

That is because often the TOS are written in a language that is hard to understand. If sites started using two versions of their TOS a shorter but easier to understand and a more advanced TOS, we would see less misstakes.

Yes, but the problems is that TOS has to be very specific, since people could find loopholes in things like that. There is a reason why TOS are usually so long.

Yes I know. But they can still be made a lot easier to understand. Just make the TOS easy to read by changing fontsize, line-height etc so that the user can read it more easily. I hate it when sites has a TOS that is two pages long and uses Verdana 10px, for example.

I wouldn't remove it if I were you. The TOS actually does say something about not modifying the adsense code.

Are you sure they were google ads and not ads by a different site?

If it was infact Download.com you saw this on, they are a Premium Publisher, they have special agreements with G.

Yes brian is right. download.com is premium publisher.
Me and you, "small fishes" should be carefully at every action. If not, we know...
