I'm unfamiliar myself exactly how eCheck works but after speaking with my accounts department they told me when making payments to certain users eCheck highlights as the only option. We believe this could be down to the 'Users Paypal' account which is requesting the funds (you may have restrictions). I say this because 99% of our users are able to except payments the same day (Direct Paypal payment from our account, not eCheck).

I got an echeck again and this time I used a premier account. Fees are £3.50.
Expected Clearing Date: Jul. 24, 2008
Why you guys are not do it via mass payment?

I will switch back to personal account to save the fees at least.

since it doesn't change the speed of payments.

Hope you can talk to the "accounts department" again to bring this up.
