Excellent sale mjnels - and a perfect end user application.

Out of all those newspapers my favorite names has always been: The Sacramento Bee ... what an odd old name. Wonder if they'll go after bee.mobi ?????

yep.. i have a feeling in a couple years or sooner the theory about "there are no end users out there for .mobi they are just protecting their brand" will be flushed down the toliet completely.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=286105

I actually got a call several times from this company, but they eventually left a message.

there are 676 L-L combinations, and id guess at least 500 of them are owned between only 2 different people..

i was reading a couple days ago and the Union-Tribune has had a mobile site since the year 2000.... like wap.ddes.s.com or something.. but they planned to upgrade to the new .mobi domains

see, .mobi works just as a vanity domain, if nothing else.. if .info can exist .mobi can exist and actually have an application. i didnt see all these places running out building .info sites...

but you DO see SOME running out getting .TV sites.. Why? because its a different, hugely popular media outlet, Television!

the moblile industry is a largely untapped media outlet at this point, that is, compared to what it will be like in the year 2015.

Sacramento Bee's website is sacbee.com and yes, they have registered sacbee.mobi, back in June during the Trademark pre-landrush period. They also own sacramento.com and are obviously committed to their internet presence.

Cancer

L-L.mobi

I had regd. 5 L-L.mobi and sold 2 (state abbrv.) of them somewhere in december 06.

I have 3 more L-L.mobis

W-A.mobi (Washington)
N-H.mobi (New Hampshire)
N-S.mobi (Nova Scotia)

And the sale of U-T.mobi makes me happy.

I bought G-Q.mobi, G-O.mobi, and D-O.mobi. I'm glad I did. This was the only way to get a two letter .mobi. They aren't making any more of them and they're all gone. Maybe I should send a letter to GQ magazine to see if they have any interest in G-Q.mobi. I really like G-O.mobi, it really goes with the ext. You can not get any less than 3 characters or two letters/numbers in this domain. This make them rare and short. I only see their value climbing from here.

IMO, As TLD's .mobi is growing with "large company" end user sites much faster than other's (.info, biz, us)
