You guys are awesome!!! The banner cell is now taking my affiliate link and is working fine...opening into a new browser and being recorded through my affiliate stats!
Looking forward to Phase 2...hopefully we will not be limited to just one banner, but maybe could also enter our own text affiliate links.
Speaking of affiliate links, I just noticed that the banner link I just put in is on top of the page!!! Now, to me this is a flag for the webbots and crawlers to move on and dish my site!
Maybe your tech people could move this under the search box even if I need to cut the banner in half. See example:
