| For the beef roast I add olive oil and rub it on the beef. Than I salt and pepper it. Than add a clove or two of garlic - fresh of course. A splash or 2 maybe 3 of worchestire sauce. Than add a quartered medium onion. About 4 or 5 medium potatoes and 3 sliced carrots.
If you don thave a roast than you can use beef stew chunks. You can replace the roast with a chicken and add the same things. And run the cook time for the same amount of time listed below.
If I have it on hi cook than I let it go for about 4 - 5 hours. For low about 8 hours to 10 hours
Pinto or Navy beans with some ham hocks is a real tasty dinner as well. |
