Content V Clicks

Hey all ,
just wanted to know your views on this,
now i have a site up at the moment which isnt getting much traffic as its fairly new. I have put relevant content on there and explain alot, however do you think this affects the click on adsense? i mean if you have all the relevant information on your site then why would the visiter click on a ad?
Do you think that if you put less content into your site it may prompt your visitors to click on the adsense as they are not finding the information on your site?
i have often pondered this and wondered if anyone else has the same views.

let me know

cheers
steve

From what I understand, you're talking about a minisite - and if that's the case, then there's a theory that the purpose of content on a minisite is to secure the right spot in search engine results by focusing on a number of keywords. When the visitor them comes in through Google, they realise that your site isn't what they were looking for - however, hopefully those lovely Adsense ads will provide them with a quick - and relevant - way out of your site (since they'd be looking for content elsewhere as your site can't provide it).

According to my thinking, it works like this...

You have a webhosting related website with lots of information about webhosting (like servers, vps, resellers, uptime, price etc etc.). When a user will read these articles or content, he might desire to buy one and your google ads will be mostly about "Web Hosting companies" who are selling web hosting, you might get clicks. The more strong your content is, the more chances of click.....
