The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

AutoTalk.com - Private sale
I was the buyer of this domain to replace developed website at auto-talk.net.

A smart move to boost your nice site into new horizons. I'm confident having this .com will help you achieve your goals. This the domain economy as it should be: everybody wins, seller gets a good price, and for the end user the domain will give a boost to his business and keep giving for years to come.

It's all about the generic dotcoms, which also have built-in brandability. Just think, auto-talk.net vs autotalk.com. Thanks to this domain, your site immediately has the aura of being the leading social site for automotive enthusiasts. It's like a flip of the switch.

THanks. I was after this domain for a long time and finally negotiations paid off. The domain has been around since 1996, which is a huge plus.

.org values are going up.

Corrected.

Right, I haven't been monitoring those .org sales recently.

Thanks for the heads up.

I don't think so. So I would say .org values are climbing as they should imo.

Remember that DNjournal article about a domaining conference that had just been held(maybe 1-2 yrs ago), and they got some stats on the names that have sold the best so far, and one of the was "longer, descriptive names", and this name looks like one of em :)
