I think its a fair price. I'm sure both the seller as well the buyer are happy. Selling domains is a very delicate process:
(i) Too low and the seller suffers
(ii) Too high and the buyer thinks of alternate names. In this case its just a Real Estate Company. The buyer probably was looking for a catchy name that makes sense to people doing business with him. $1K seemed reasonable enough. We can wait and see what is being done with the site to figure out what the domain does for the buyer.
