Generally speaking we have beautiful weather (winters can be quite mild depending on where you live). We have some of the most beautiful scenery you could ever hope to find, and people in general, are relaxed and easy going.
At the moment house prices are leveling out and over all starting to drop. Prices of housing again depends on location, but I think you would find what you need within a reasonable price range. We are a democracy and also a very multicultural society.
Not sure of the visa and immigration or visa rules but we seem to readily accept new citizens and provide them with equal opportunity for advancement. I have a couple of friends from overseas who are now citizens.
Whatever your choice is though, I wish you the best in your endeavours.
If you move to Australia you can keep the $200 and buy me a beer instead.
