| I was going to write a post just about auctions on SEDO. Are people leaving money on the table ? Add to that paying a commission.
I think for a great .com the desire to push a decent offer to auction is worth gambling on one bid. But with .tv names I have seen that 90 % get one bid and one bid only. Maybe dealing here is more favorable than taking a chance on SEDO.
But Its a phenomenon people like bidding other places I have seen domains expiring on TDNAM that would never get the same action in the marketplace.
I bid on a name on NAMEJET a .com it had 3 bidders bidding it up and I won at $770 most I ever paid for a domain actually. I would bet I would not get a $200 offer in the Namepros or DNF sales threads. It is a good name and I can do a lot of things with it so I do not mind but it just goes to show that people like bidding on expired domains but do not pay the same most of the time in a regular thread.
