Yes I do have a mobi portfolio, and I was debating whether to keep investing or pull out. Your post has made me think twice about it now.

If you look at the iPhone's web showcase, you'll see that all sites tailered to iPhone are stripped down, so much for Apple's original rejection on .mobi. And there are many .mobi sites there also. Mine is one of them.
