I'm developing lastnews.org and here is a simple preview of it:

US and PT news are the only ones working till now .. I still want to add weather to the website too ..

I can view it, just a simple review as simple as your site :D
well, for me your site is too simple.
Maybe once you've added your header or some image on both side, it will look better :)

Your site looks very plain and simple. In general I like that kind of aproach when it comes to websites, but perhaps you could brighten up your website a little bit with careful use of graphics... Perhaps an actual logo ;)

Anyway, I like where you are going with this concept - just liven it up a bit.
